  • Summary: Keep your hands steady and your mind focused – this time around there’s a lot more on the line. Every cut of the scalpel, every pinch of the forceps, each and every second that ticks by is of the absolute greatest importance. If you think it's too much to handle alone, invite a friend to ass assist with the operation and work together to save patients from flat-lining. The adrenaline is pumping, lives are at stake, and only you can save the day. Have you got what it takes? At a remote hospital in Alaska, Dr. Markus Vaughn quietly toils, a surgeon who has forsaken the politics and power struggles of his former ward. He is content to use the power he has discovered within himself, the Healing Touch, to positively affect the lives of those in need. His partner is Valerie Blaylock, a promising young doctor eager to unlock her own dormant abilities. When the facility unexpectedly closes, they are forced to return to Concordia Medical Institute, where politics are more important than patient’s lives, and doctors more concerned with image than their ministration. There they are recruited into the government organization Caduceus, where they will learn of a conspiracy with dire ramifications, and their lives will be changed forever! For the first time in the series, work with a friend to race against the clock and save lives…success will require teamwork and communication – Every second counts. Depend on a brand new medical team for support and advice as you tackle new emergencies. [Atlus USA] Expand

  1. Atlus one-ups themselves with the first real sequel in the Trauma Center series.
  2. A new blood transfusión comes to Wii with an updated videogame which has a new story, a cooperative mode and the same surgical taste as ever. Trauma Center: New Blood is a good solution to enlarge the life of the wiimote as a scalpel, but also an interesting option for people looking for a way to play doctors in Wii.
  3. Better than last year’s counterpart, Trauma Center: New Blood is all-around improved. If you’re looking for a quirky game this holiday, I suggest picking up New Blood for the co-op multiplayer component alone.

Like the previous entries in the series, it has a strong storyline and gripping, tight gameplay. But it's because of the subject matter at times that the player might be turned off.

This game is necessary for anybody who has liked a Trauma Center game, and if you haven't liked one, something in your brain is probably gone. It's one of the most entertaining series of this generation, and I don't give awards like this very often. In fact, the last time I did was with the Dark Cloud series, and those were almost perfect. As was this. If you have a Wii, go get this game NOW. However, if you don't have one, don't feel left out. Get one of the DS Trauma Center games. Expand

Amazing game! Highly addictive and easy to play! I recommend this game to anyone who owns a wii and enjoys rhythmn/puzzle type games. It can be played in short burst since operations last any where from a couple of minutes up to 10 minutes. But if you're like me, you'll find yourself playing for hours trying to get the best rankings and highest score possible. Upon beating the game, there are online leader board scores for the die-hard players. Players can compete to get the best score and upload via the online wi-fi. I've clocked approximately 60 hours on this game already and still enjoy playing it. I can't wait for the next installment in the series. Expand

Trauma Center: New Blood has one of the best storylines in any game I have ever played. I think it's the only game where I was always wanting to know what will happen next. It also has a great challenge, which in some levels I had to get help in co-op, but that's the best part about the game- it's challenging. But the only problem is that I beat it in 3 days (total of 10 1/2 hours) But you can always try to beat your high scores if you are that sort of gamer. Expand

The single player story is a great improvment over the previous GUILT infested patients, though the difficulty is perplexing and, on a few operations, Wiimote hucking-calibur. Still, with the inclusion of a second doctor, a different Healing Touch, a huge variety of missions and an overall better storyline, the Trauma Center series continues to be an example of the use of Wii controls, ingenuity and origniality.
