  • Summary: We Love Golf! presents a realistic golfing experience with a new spin, incorporating the Wii Remote's unique motion-sensing functionality. Players use the controller to choose clubs, line up shots, swing and even add a touch fade or draw with a flick of the wrist. Just as on a real course, gauging wind conditions, correct club selection and careful reading of the greens are all essential for victory. The game features a variety of game modes, multiple characters, and unlockable content. [Capcom] Expand

  1. Simple and intuitive controls mix perfectly with its appealing and approachable cartoony look to perhaps make We Love Golf the best, non-simulation links experience available on the console.
  2. As anyone who has played a "Mario Golf" title can tell you, developer Camelot knows how to make a great golf game. [Aug 2008, p.88]
  3. Gets the nod for its accessible controls and online gameplay. It's definitely more about multiplayer though. [Aug 2008, p.91]

I think Camelot made a mistake by ignoring true one-to-one swing mechanics in favor of a more traditional Mario Golf-style control scheme. And I think We Love Golf! is as a result a little easier than it should be. But the strange thing is, it's still a really good game of golf that's fun because the controls do exactly what they're supposed to and because the pace is so fast.

We Love Golf? Not this aimed at under 5s, chintzy, annoying, cartoons with stupid tunes version of golf we don't. Even the wiimote squawks at you with the annoyance of an ill disciplined child. The control is poor, makes wii sports golf look awesome. Proof that some mags sites get paid to give favourable reviews. 80%? They've bumped their heads! Expand

Another disappointing game. This is far from realistic golf. The graphics are very "kiddy". I played Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 for the PS3 and this was the best golf game out on the market. I would recommend this game for very young children, but other than that, avoid this game. Expand
