  1. 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand is a fairly typical third-person shooter at its core.
  2. Games Master UK
Gloriously absurd shooter backed up with fast-paced and entertaining combat. [Apr 2009, p.76]
  3. Despite the few flaws we found, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand is extremely fun to play, especially to those who were looking for a bad-ass co-op game to play with their buddy. Just remember that the game doesn’t try to take itself seriously…and neither do you. Turn off your brain, grab your bullet-proof vest and give 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand some love, ‘shawty’.
  4. We really had an absolute riot playing this bad boy. It was a mesh of the best aspects of a bunch of different titles we dug and a blast to knock out, though the repetitive boss battles irked us a little.
  5. 50 Cent’s first foray into video games (50 Cent: Bulletproof) was a hot mess of action clichés and poor control, so kudos to new developer Swordfish Studios for delivering a vastly improved sequel. It’s a thuggish, high production value exercise in excess – not unlike the music of the man that inspired it.
  6. If you are a fan of mindless, old-school action games you really owe it to yourself to give Blood on the Sand a try. I promise you will be thoroughly entertained. The minute things start to feel repetitive, the game throws in a random driving level or a ludicrous cutscene that you only wish could be rewound and watched again.

Is it derivative? Yes. Is that a bad thing? No. Have I spent the last week of my life beating this game 6 times over and STILL going back for more? Um, what I do in my spare time is between my consoles and me.
  8. A huge improvement over the below-average Bulletproof.
  9. If you are a fan of 50 Cent, and enjoy arcadish shoot em' ups, then 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand should be right up your alley.
  10. 80
It's fun, funky and action loaded game with addicting gameplay to warrant a purchase even for the most skeptical gamer thinking that this rap mogul couldn't pull off a worthwhile game.
  11. AceGamez
50 Cent: Blood on the Sands is a really good, solid action game. It's silly, exciting and channels the best aspects of some of the 360's favourite hardcore shooters into some brainless arcade fun.
  12. Without introducing particularly innovative elements, Swordfish Studios managed to ably mix and leverage already successful and well-known gameplay elements, delivering us a very entertaining dense hip hop style. Suggested to every lover of third person shooters, but mainly to Rap fans, that will find in this game all the traits of the gangsta lifestyle.
  13. Seriously, it’s a good game! The graphics are all right, the gameplay is addicting, and story is good, stupid fun.
  14. Fiddy proves his gaming career is more than wanksta dreaming with Blood on the Sand. You would almost have to be lifeless not to enjoy a few minutes of 50 this action packed shooter.
  15. This is simply a blast to play, and there's a lot of replay value. The only problem is that the campaign is short, maybe five to seven hours.
  16. 77
Surprisingly good. It may lack some of the fine polish and epic sense of scale found in the triple-A titles it so obviously borrows from, but that's no reason to ignore it completely. It is a game that revels in its absurdity never taking itself seriously, an attitude that breeds a certain amount of forgiveness for its shortcomings.
  17. 76
A near-perfect popcorn game. Its gunplay is solid and backed up by a plethora of neat ideas, its co-op is strong and there's an undercurrent of savvy humour that helps to negate the heavy posturing and more dubious elements of the paper thin plot.
  18. Goddamn if I don’t look back at the time I spent on it and grin. It’s significantly longer than you’d imagine too, with perhaps 15 hours game time if you try and challenge yourself a little bit and put it on Hard. So really, what more can you ask for – reasonable physics, good soundtrack, loads of gaming, multiplayer, replayability? Believe me, nobody is as surprised as I am by that sentence. But I tell you, this is worth a go.
  19. 75
The co-op is fun, the action is intense and in fact the only negative things about this game are the camera, story, and pop in graphics. If you can get past all of those things underneath you might not find the ultimate 50-Cent experience but you will at the very least find a pretty good action arcade shooter.
  20. 75
This is great mindless fun, with a huge head-nodding Fiddy soundtrack, highly competent visuals and a high score aesthetic that clicks enough to keep you playing.
  21. At the end of the day, if you can look past the utterly stupid story and just enjoy the game for what it is, a fast paced, high scoring, arcade shooter, you'll probably find yourself having a lot of fun.
  22. His previous foray into videogames left the self professed P.I.M.P. more than a little L.I.M.P. But Swordfish Studios have pumped the lead back into 50 Cent’s pencil with the very respectable Blood on the Sand.
  23. 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand does a good job of alleviating the mistakes of its predecessor thanks to the better controls, great graphics and a foray into co-op.

I for one thought it was one of the more entertaining games I have played in a while. Don't get me wrong its cheese and crap on manyI for one thought it was one of the more entertaining games I have played in a while. Don't get me wrong its cheese and crap on many levels, but the game play(especially with a friend) is just ridiculous. I mean what other game can I shoot up a room with explosive rounds while increasing my score for swearing only to end up counterkilling a guy to death with knife swipes and a final stab.
Blood on the Sand is a masterpiece of over the top ridiculousness. People really just need to calm down and let games entertain instead of criticizing it for not being something to push limits graphically with a story that rivals the best authors.
This game is a perfect way to unwind.

50 Cent Blood on the Sand
The dumbest game ive ever played.
In Blood on the Sand you play as 50 Cent..
And no.. I don’t mean 50 cent playing a character..
You literally play as 50 cent after his last concert on tour with g unit…
You get off stage to collect some owed money and youre paid with a skull embedded with diamonds..
Youre ambushed and this skull is taken from you and you spend the rest of the game trying to get it back..
And you do this with the sidekick of your choice.. I chose Lloyd banks.. cause hes Lloyd banks.. of course im going to choose him…
Your partner is controlled by ai as the online co op feature no longer works…
This is a super linear 3rd person shooter…
    But its insanely boring….
This game is from 2009 and feels very much from that time being just a bunch of ugly greys and browns throughout…
The entire 3 hr and 40 min long campaign looks and feels the same leading it to get boring quickly though initially its quite the joy taunting your enemies as you kill them, and blasting through levels listening to actual music by 50 cent…
But the gameplay is very unengaging..
You can take cover.. shoot enemies… run up to them to intiate a counter kill quick time event..collect cash.. get collectables to rack up your points in a level, and throw out some sick fire with your gangsta fire meter that slows down time allowing you to pull off mad sick head shots…
The only thing that could make this game more ridiculous is every enemy charcter having ja rules face and young buck crying on the other line every time you stop at a pyphone to spend your collected cash on new weapons, taunts, and counterkills…
I laughed a handful of times because of how ridiculous this game and its concept is…
50 Cent speaks to everyone like a rapper.. and not a hero…
That was really the only redeemable quality this game has…
    Its massively repetitive…
3 and half hours feels like 3 and a half years.
I give 50 Cent Blood on the Sand
    a 5/10
