  1. The first of two scheduled DLC packs for Assassin's Creed II, we can't help but think the content within should have made an appearance on disk when the game was released.
  2. 74
The first expansion for Assassin's Creed II is a little underwhelming, but there is short-lived fun to be had with it. There is only around an hour of gameplay included, but the four dollar price tag is also easy on your wallet.
  3. Although its low cost we miss more content in this first Assassin’s Creed II DLC. The Battle of Forli is an interesting add-on for the main game, but for future expansions we wish for something more.
  4. It seems like a fairly cheap move delivering what now comes across as an incomplete experience without purchasing this download content, and seeing as this is being listed with a $4.00/£3.20 buying price, it isn't exactly cheap to experience it.

  1. There is not much to say really about this downloadable addition to ACII, firstly i think you should buy it if you enjoyed the game itself, as it fills in missing parts from the campaign that completes the story. The reason i only gave it a eight is because i think this section should have just came with the game, as the price is quite high and this package lasts an hour, tops. The price does not reflect the package you're buying, otherwise, this is classic Assassin's Creed gaming and fully enjoyable. Expand
  2. Battle of Forli is the first DLC pack for Assassin's Creed II, expected ever since the release of the game to reveal one of the game's missing memory sequences. Well, the wait was definitely not worth it, as Battle of Forli pretty much sucks. It adds no new elements to the game whatsoever; it is nothing more than a new story, told through six missions that are small variations of missions found in the main plot. The story makes little sense, and it fells stupid that Ezio would so foolishly leap into trouble after all he went through and everything he has achieved. Even worse, this DLC offers no closure. If you want to see the end of this confusing story you will have to buy the next DLC pack in order to reveal the final missing memory sequence. The only fun found in Battle of Forli is the possibility to use Da Vinci's flying machine whenever you want. Expand
  3. Not only is this DLC lacking in much content, it feels like a critical part of the story. This lame $4 add-on isn't even worth buying to get that missing achievement for flying into a guard. You're better off replaying the game. Expand
