  1. Bee Movie Game is easily one of the first platform-style action games that can truly be called "next-gen". It's also one of the best movie-inspired games in its genre.
  2. Out of all the Pixar and Dreamworks games, it is absolutely among one of the best, and would make for a brilliant Christmas present if you're looking to satisfy the kids over the festive season.
  3. The Bee Movie Game is a fun little romp with some funny moments tossed in for good measure and while it's not an innovative platformer, it still has enough good things going for it.
  4. Giving us the option to bypass the mini-games and get straight to the story would've made this charming visual treat even tastier. [Holiday 2007, p.73]
  5. The Bee Movie Game has eye-catching graphics, great sound and music with enough authentic gameplay to appeal to gamers of all ages. A solid effort here, despite the generally bad rap that movie-based games entail.
  6. The Bee Movie Game is obviously aimed at younger players and those who are interested in the movie. But even older gamers will find plenty of humor and solid gameplay to enjoy in the game.
  7. The game has a ton of things to do including racing and collecting honey. While that might get boring quickly, it's still a very solid effort.
  8. While the controls are occasionally a bit troublesome, the entertaining single player campaign, loads of mini-games and well balanced set of achievements definitely offer an excellent Xbox 360 gaming experience.
  9. Even though it is a little rough around the edges, Bee Movie is quite an enjoyable movie game packed with a lot of gameplay variety.
  10. Jerry Seinfeld plus Xbox 360 platformer equals lots of gaming goodness.
  11. We've never been fans of forcing someone to play a set number of mini-games to advance to the next mission, and we don't like that element in this game either. But the mini-games are simple enough and the mission structure repetitive enough that young kids are likely going to have a good time.
  12. It is hard not to recognize the work that Beenox put into making this game. Bee the Movie is a nicely paced and entertaining gaming package for young and older gamers.
  13. Bee Movie is a solid game that remains true to the license while actually producing a fantastic experience for players both young and old.
  14. It is a decent game with many strong points but some of you more seasoned gamers won't have the patience for Barry and his Bee buzzing ways.
  15. Hardcore players should probably stay away, but anyone looking for a laid-back and fun time can find at least a little of that here. This game is obviously made for kids, and while they'll have more fun with it than an adult would, there's a little something for everyone in this package.
  16. Surprisingly pretty and unexpectedly addictive. [Feb 2008, p.98]

For all the blah, repetitive mini-game jobs and the slightly weak overall presentation, Bee Movie Game holds up surprisingly well. It's definitely better than most licensed games ought to be.
  18. In the end, Bee Movie is harmless fun.
  19. Unless your goal is replacing your expired Ambien prescription with something that may arguably be more effective, or you think casting Jerry Seinfield as a honey producing bug might actually be the bee's knees (sorry), then I highly recommend you rush out and buy this game immediately.
  20. Fans of the animated movie will have a lot of fun with this game, especially if they're wanting to relive some of their favorite moments from the film. While this is hardly groundbreaking stuff, as a kids' game the Bee Movie Game is definitely enjoyable.
  21. The various gameplay elements are hit or miss, but at least it seems to be more hit than miss, despite some glaring flaws.
  22. Younger players will enjoy the variety and sandbox-style freedom of Bee Movie Game.
  23. Bee Movie Game tries to offer more than the usual copy of the movie setpieces. Challenges are varied, although somewhat limited. Still, it's one of the best games for youngsters.
  24. Bee Movie is a good weekend rental for the younglings, but not something veteran gamers are going to be too thrilled about.
  25. Don't force us to play the minigames to expand the already-uninspiring campaign. It's sloppy game design, and it drags Bee Movie Game even further into the mud.

I honestly can't, with a straight face, give this game anything higher than a 0. I'd love to critique the gameplay, but I'm afraid there is none to speak of. The only humor to be found is at how incredibly awful the game is. This may sound like little more than bashing, but in truth, it's a fair and honest review of a game unworthy of even these words. For those of you of good humor, however, I recommend trying the free demo for a nice laugh. Full Review »

This game is really horrible. I bought it for my young son since he loved the movie. It's just unplayable for both him and me.
