JoeShmoeOct 2, 20093Unbelievable! This is just a clone - and a poor clone! - of Outdoor Adventures. They tried for the same VITALS feature, but failed miserably - it feels like an ancient arcade shooter. Hunter Sense is a joke - pillars of light tell you where to go at all times. Animals are rigid, adding to the feeling that it is all just a cheap imitation of a game that wasn't that good to begin with.

46In trying to create an arcade hunting experience with Big Game Hunter 2010, so much was sacrificed that you're left with only scraps of gameplay that fail to satisfy any appetite.

65The fast-paced action keeps things from getting too boring, and the medals and high scores actually strive to keep you coming back to improve your performance. The lack of depth and strategy will likely disappoint fans of the genre, but if you take it for what it is, it is actually quite enjoyable.

Without any new features, this year's installation is just as good as the rest, and that doesn't say much. [Holiday 2009, p.85]
