Resurrection shines as the only needed DLC of this game (it explains Gabriel's fate). The two levels were somewhere in between Olrox-type battles and Titan battles, as in many ways the levels were the boss-fights. $10 was too much for this as it last about 45 minutes, I mean come on. It was a solid 45 minutes though, for what it's worth (which is apparently the aforementioned $10). Overall, good. Very good. Collapse

It's a shame that such a beautiful game gets maculated by such obscure, tragic and mediocre DLC such as this. These DLC are a travesty. "Reverie" is dull, simple, almost comic. "Ressurection" is a lazy work, useless and unecessary that no one needs to play. And for 10 bucks each?! What are they thinking?! Whoever made and (decided to) charge for these 2 DLC should be ashamed. Castlevania Lords of Shadow is a MASTERPIECE on its own. And that AMAZING epilogue didn't leave room for DLC unless to make it better. Trust me: YOU DON'T NEED TO DOWNLOAD THIS. Stick with the main game, it's all you need. IT'S TIME WE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS RIP-OFF INDUSTRY OF DLCs. Expand

Between sloppy design (only a few encounters with spirits and skeletons keep the in-between interesting), a lackluster boss encounter and utterly no resolution as to the game's fantastically out-of-left-field post-credit sequence, Resurrection isn't worth its $10 asking price -- and with the rest of the game as good as it is, average just doesn't cut it.

Resurrection doesn't live up to its expectations: it should be the epilogue of an epic adventure, yet it fails, shaping itself as a mere extension of the main game. Poorly designed platforming sessions and a non-exciting boss fights are definitely not worth their price.
