  • Summary: In grand Crazy Machines tradition, players must create wacky chain reactions using different parts and accomplish the tasks set out in their mission, from knocking vases over to blowing out candles.

There's a ton of content here, and the various challenges are a blast to figure out. If you are the type of gamer who enjoys going through a game of this type puzzle by puzzle, Elements will engross you from start to finish. If you're not patient enough to deal with a few clunkers (or solve at least 50 stages before getting to the real meat of the game), you're better off elsewhere.

The game as a whole is a charming package suitable for all ages. With its user friendly interface, addictive gameplay, generous number of levels and multiple modes, Crazy Machines Elements is worth the download.

While the genre itself hasn't evolved much in the past twenty years, there is still an undeniable satisfaction that one derives from building and watching Goldberg machines run. For only ten dollars, puzzle fans and creative types can find a lot to enjoy here.

A descendent of classic PC-puzzler The Incredible Machine, almost 20 years down the line, and Crazy Machines: Elements manages to be the worse game. There is some enjoyment to be had in the unlockable challenge mode, but most of the experience lacks real creative freedom and is let down by control issues.
