Oct 15, 201295Everything about the game - its preposterous storyline, its madcap multiplayer modes - peels away at the inherent, inextricable humiliation of dancing in front of your peers. To start a dance battle in one of those modes, you have to high-five your opponent in real life. Rest assured, you are in very, very good hands.

Oct 15, 201295Dance Central 3 isn't just the best reason to own a Kinect; it is the reason you need to own one.

Oct 17, 201294Dance Central 3 is one of the best, if not the best, game the Kinect has to offer, and yet there is still room to grow in Dance Central 4. Here's hoping the next game will have a more refined feedback system and "Thriller" by Michael Jackson.

Oct 26, 201293Like the previous games before it, Dance Central 3 is just plain fun to play. Games that my entire family enjoys are rare, and it's even rarer that I enjoy playing those games on my own as well. Playing solo (with the blinds closed, of course), even on Easy, I worked up a pretty good sweat and had a blast doing it. With excellent motion recognition, a great track list and loads of multiplayer options, it remains the best dance game for Kinect.

Oct 15, 201291Well done alterations, an extensive track list and the trusted base frame prove once more that the Dance Central franchise is on top of the Xbox dancing world.

Nov 16, 201290More time-travel sci-fi needs heel kicks. [Dec 2012, p.87]

Nov 14, 201290If you like the earlier games in the series, you probably already bought this one. But If you haven't played them, you should begin with this one since it's the best dancing game out there. But Harmonix has to look up, since Just Dance is closing in on them and could very well take their spot next year.

Oct 22, 201290Not an evolution of the series but a step forward indeed. Good for playing "seriously" or just for fun, with a solid base that allows the developers to include crazy ideas that actually fit in the game. The track list is, as well, as good as we expected.
-
Oct 16, 201290Dance Central 3 still offers some frustrations with the Kinect sensor recognizing certain moves, the learning curve is still a bit steeper than it could be, and having to pay to import old tracks from versions you've already purchased is the worst sort of corporate vileness, but all things considered, Dance Central 3 is a major step up from its predecessor that proves to be much more than the Kinect's best example of a functional game.
-
Oct 16, 201290Masterstroke of fun, and does a good job moving the series in the right direction. It offers fresh new tracks for everyone to enjoy, and is far more accessible for everyone than ever before.
-
Oct 16, 201290Packed with features and polished to a sheen, Dance Central 3 is a true evolution of what has come before. It hasn't lost focus of the core features that made its initial success popular, but the developers also haven't rested on their laurels. Much more than a simple track pack or yearly update, the latest game is sure to please anyone who plays it.
-
Oct 15, 201290With its addition of 45 more tracks and routines to the franchise's repertoire, and its suite of new multiplayer modes that push the genre in new and interesting ways, the series is stronger than ever.
-
Oct 15, 201290The fact that you can import music from the first two games is one of the most appealing aspects of Dance Central 3, as I personally have benefited thanks to owning more songs than I know what to do with. It's absolutely perfect for Party mode, as you almost never hear the same song twice, and Harmonix should be commended for this kind of support.
-
Oct 15, 201290As a complete package, Dance Central 3 is the best dance game yet. Whether you want to boogie with a bunch of friends or perfect your routines in single-player, Harmonix has hooked you up with plenty of gratifying options. This may not be the end-all-be-all of motion-controlled movin' and groovin', but it once again gives the Kinect a glorious, life-of-the-party purpose.

Oct 5, 201290Whereas we loved DC2 and its routines with a fierce consciousness, Dance Central 3 infiltrated our bodies without our knowing it. [Dec 2012, p.80]
-
Oct 22, 201288With 45-songs out the box and numerous new features to get your booty shakin', the Dance Central franchise has once again shown why they are the crème of the crop when it comes to dancing games on Xbox 360 console.

Oct 15, 201288I have always enjoyed Harmonix's dancing franchise, and Dance Central 3 is the best experience I have ever had with Kinect.
