This is a casual golf title that everyone can enjoy.
If you have enjoyed golfing releases previously then this warrants your time, so make it your next purchase and get involved online.
There’s a little something for everyone in Easy Golf. Casual players both young and old will find the game to be graphically appealing and easy to pick up and enjoy, but there’s an audience here for hardcore gamers as well. The player created courses can bring a challenge to this game. While a little pricier than other XNA titles, be assured this is a game that is overflowing with features and content that goes beyond what many Xbox Live Arcade titles offer at the same price, giving players a full Arcade-style golf title for their money.
All told, it's Wii Sports golf for the Xbox 360, at the price of $10, with a well-functioning if not user-friendly course creator. We're not seeing the downside.
It might not be the most exciting game on offer, but it's definitely among the more robust. Its course creator is terrific for an indie title and the multiplayer is a pleasant experience indeed.
Easy Golf certainly offers enough variety and worthwhile features to justify far more than a condescending pat on the back and a certificate for being "Very Good for a Community Game".
Matters are soured by fundamental errors, this time fairways harder than concrete and green speeds that are punishing to say the least. [Issue#41, p.112]
