  1. The visual style and animations, brilliant level design and well thought out puzzles equate to an overall gem of an Xbox Live Arcade game.

My only other complaint I have with the game is that it doesn't add anything new.

i was a huge fan of the first game, finished all 100 levels with a perfect store and most of the additional 100 downloadable levels. exit 2 is a brilliant update. the graphics are mostly the same but receive a mild but decent facelift, the music selection is as good, and the level design is every bit as inventive. i object to some of the professional reviews claiming that nothing was added but more levels. the first game did a great number of things with only three survivor types, exit 2 adds two more very different ones, the dog and the athlete, as well as a plethora of new level devices to create a much wider range of puzzles. maybe because of it, the focus in exit 2 is shifted entirely to puzzle-solving, and there's none of the sometimes incredibly difficult pure-action levels prominent in the first game's download packs. if you like puzzle games, it doesn't get much better than exit, and exit 2 is a thoughtful and worthwhile update. it's a shame we probably won't see a third game in the series.
