  1. It is true that Knothole Island doesn’t offer that much new stuff, but nevertheless every piece and the whole island itself is very harmonious and perfectly fits into the Fable-universe. The journey to Knothole Island is definitely worth a consideration.
  2. The Fable II downloadable content is a must-have for anyone who was looking for a reason to pick up Fable II again. Three new quests, a range of new items and weapons, as well as some great augments make the experience worthwhile. It certainly could have been longer, as it will only give you two or three hours of gameplay, but hopefully there will be further DLC in the future.
  3. Knothole Island is a good effort but far from the standard the full game set.
  4. It doesn't do anything new, it doesn't fix any old problems and it's not very substantial. There are a lot of better ways to spend £6.80 on Xbox Live.

And the best part about it is that you can get your dog back by going to the left of the chieftens house and sacrificing someone in the crypt there. all you require is the DLC, or game of the year edition, someone willing to follow you, get close to the crypt (they will walk in automatically) and pull the lever and hello, Fido Expand

It's not terribly long, but long enough. The quests are interesting and the new swag is pretty sweet. Not to mention that the various alteration potions you can acquire are a nice touch. *spolier* i love getting my dog back and the fact that I can have expert skill and not have be a 6'6" hulking she-male! Worth 800 for those that love Fable2; iffy for those that are casual fans and it's not going to change your mind about it if you didn't like it to begin with. I'm in the first camp so it was points well spent. Collapse

Good addition to Fable 2. This will give you a good 2 hours of extra gameplay, 4-5 of you want to do all of the box of secrets and find the hidden books. Expand

Agree with the metascore, and the boomtown and eurogamer quotes especially. It provides a few hours of extra quests that all Fable 2 fans will enjoy, but after it is all over you can't help but feel like you paid too much for too little and that this DLC is a bit of a cash-in. Expand
