Disappointingly, the experience becomes a painful chore if you play solo. [Jan 2014, p.69]

While it’s not a title that will redefine the genre of beat-em-ups, it can be a relatively good time given you can grab some friends to play with.

Final Exam is undoubtedly an attractive game with a lot of fun in store, particularly with a friend, but the chaotic brawling is unfortunately countered by frustrating drawbacks in many areas.
  4. Nov 27, 2013
The concept works pretty well, but the level design becomes tedious and boring, with some really slow sequences. If you think you can forgive this, then it deserves a try.
  5. Jan 22, 2014
Classic button masher, with not much to offer.
  6. Nov 12, 2013
To put it simply: Final Exam is forgettable.
  7. This is impossible to get excited about. [Jan 2014, p.84]

Final Exam has a unique set of ideas for a story, the graphics are...colorful and the player can choose between four characters who each have their own weapon variety, leveling up system and the game is diverse. HOWEVER, everything else falls flat from it's repetitive gameplay, average looking backgrounds, still images tell the story, generic enemies/bosses and the music is ok. Nothing much to say, It's fun with a friend BUT not by yourself. Soooooooooooooo I am going to play something else. It's a slightly above average game but, there are better beat em ups. The choice is yours! Collapse
