  1. Dark Corners and its DLC collected All Fronts edition both offer great value for money and is just begging you to give it a download, you wont regret it.
  2. A package all of Gears of War 2 fans will be surely please to download and play. A new single player campaign chapter, 7 new maps and a new take on the classical gameplay make up for an experience surely worth of the price.
  3. Gears of War 2: Dark Corners is nothing more and nothing less than a well-tailored Map Pack, yet it’s absolutely a must-have for all GoW fans. For your 1200 MS points you also get to play part of a previously cut scene from the single player campaign.
  4. In conclusion, if you are a Gears of War fan, than this is a must have download and although the single-player level will have most Gears of Wars gamers finish it in no-time, the stealth aspect of this level will allow you to finish it another way.
  5. Despite the underwhelming Road to Ruin deleted scene (I guess it was deleted for a reason), the multiplayer maps are great.
  6. Dark Corners is a very suitable downloadable content for GOW2 fans looking for more multiplayer maps and, above all, an additional hour of campaign gameplay. A must-have for Gears of War fans.
  7. We see why "Road to Ruin" was a 'deleted scene," but Gears 2 remains bloody brill. [Oct 2009, p.71]
  8. Dark Corners is the best Gears of War 2 DLC published. It has some great multiplayer maps and also a peek at what was left at the designer's table when developing the main game.
  9. If you've forgotten just how much fun Gears' 2 multiplayer can be, whether co-op campaign, Horde mode or straight-up ranked play takes your fancy, now would be the time to step back into the fray.

If you're still playing Gears of War 2 online and have managed to struggle through its rocky development since the game's launch, then you're going to want this content.

Never bring a chainsaw bayonet to a game of cloaks and daggers. The new maps are great, but that stealth sequence should have stayed dead.
  12. Great new maps, but deleted scene too short. [Oct 2009, p.92]
