  • Summary: In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry returns for his fifth year of study at Hogwarts and discovers that much of the wizarding community has been denied the truth about the teenager’s recent encounter with the evil Lord Voldemort. Fearing that Hogwarts' venerable Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, is lying about Voldemort's return in order to undermine his power and take his job, the Minister for Magic, Cornelius Fudge, appoints a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher to keep watch over Dumbledore and the Hogwarts students. But Professor Dolores Umbridge's Ministry-approved course of defensive magic leaves the young wizards woefully unprepared to defend themselves against the dark forces threatening them and the entire wizarding community, so at the prompting of his friends Hermione and Ron, Harry takes matters into his own hands. Meeting secretly with a small group of students who name themselves "Dumbledore’s Army," Harry teaches them how to defend themselves against the Dark Arts, preparing the courageous young wizards for the extraordinary battle that lies ahead. With the ability to play multiple characters, including Harry Potter, Dumbledore and Sirius Black, the videogame of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix offers fans the opportunity to wield a wand, explore all around Hogwarts, and experience one of the most exciting and dangerous years in the life of the Boy Who Lived. 1. Thanks to the top-notch production values, this is an easy recommendation for fans of the books or movies.
  2. EA truly made an extra effort here and created a good movie-based video game that players of almost all ages can enjoy, as long as they enjoy the whole Harry Potter premise.
  3. Order of the Pheonix is all about homework and chores, and feels harder to take in than a whole book - those are poor marks for a video game.

This game is amazing! There is just so much to discover around Hogwarts, and so many people to meet with tasks to complete, that it will take ages to complete! There's no boring loading screens anywhere which is amazing as game is huge, and the minigames are great! 10 out of 10! Expand

UGH! They finally get the world and controls just right, and fail to build an actual videogame around them. Gamespot was right on when they called it a "virtual reality chore simulator". No one would find this fun, except a 5 year old. I don't know what they were thinking. It could have been so damn good. There's always next time....again. Expand

Not a vey good game to have. It involves walking repeatedly around Hogwarts. The size of Hogwarts and places to discover are amazing thought. Anyone who gives it above 5 has no sense Expand
