  1. Cheap or not, this has nothing to recommend it, bar morbid curiosity. [Jan 2008, p.83]
  2. Looney Tunes: ACME Arsenal is just a slightly below average platformer hiding behind a powerful licence.
  3. A repetitive nature not yet seen in the current generation of gaming.
  4. The biggest problem with Acme Arsenal is that it doesn’t contain an inkling of the depth on display in the classic cartoons its levels attempt to emulate.
  5. Dull, repetitive, and carelessly programmed don't even begin to sum up how crummy this action game based on the Looney Tunes license is.

Now perhaps I’m just getting too old for this stuff, but it seemed to me that these guys aren’t as funny as they once were.
  7. As I mentioned above, the camera is just plain terrible and is a major drawback to the controls because they give you the ability to steer it. Only it does not do what it is told; most times it will not do anything at all leaving you unable to see where you are supposed to jump.
  8. Aside from unlocking Achievements, it has no redeeming value, and that's all, folks.
  9. Next to sharing the screen with Michael Jordan, this game has to be the low point in Bugs Bunny's career. [Dec 2007, p.140]
  10. 10
There's simply nothing redeeming about Acme Arsenal. It's an incredibly poor, woefully unentertaining use of a great license, and an absolute bore to play. It doesn't get nearly enough right to be anywhere close to average, and becomes its own worst enemy with a cavalcade of embarrassing glitches.

The game is difficult to control, and the acme weapons do so little that it may as well just be a melee game. The most annoying thing in the whole game is the camera, which gets constantly stuck behind obstacles and refuses to look where you try to point it, making falling off ledges the most common event in the game. Graphics of the game remind me more of a ps1/ps2 game, and the game mechanics are clunky.
