  1. I went into this game as a skeptic. Madden NFL 11 made me a believer.
  2. I can't say with certainty that it is a result of the patch, but I can say that I feel that this game plays on the field much better than last year's version.
  3. Madden NFL 11 plays a good game of football. Unfortunately, about 80 per cent of the game has not been given any attention, and the question is whether or not this version is worth it for those who need their Madden fix - especially when it essentially amounts to paying a yearly subscription fee.
  4. Madden NFL 11 continues the strong trend of the series over the past years. Though it does not introduce a ton of change or innovation, the improvements it makes in the running game, presentation, and flow of the game are plenty to warrant a purchase by any fan of the series, or of virtual pigskin.

  1. This game is really solid, but it's missing some of the awesome things old Madden's used to have. Like classic teams. I still quite enjoy playing Madden though. Expand

Madden 11 is a pretty decent football game. Sure, it's pretty much just last year's game with updated rosters and rankings, but it's still fun. Like always, my favourite game modes are Franchise and online (with Xbox Live). They're are a few new features, as well, that are pretty great. Two of the biggest added features are GameFlow and online team play. GameFlow is great. It automatically chooses a play for you that isâ Collapse

Money, money, money. The Madden franchise is the cash cow for EA. Every year, they release the same game with an updated roster and a graphic tweak. This year is no different; the player models look more realistic and there is less clutter on the UI making calling plays easier. Expand
  4. This game took a step back from last year. Why take out the sprint and that gang tackling? But more importantly, why the hell does EA refuse to allow the Xbox servers to host games? EA's servers are crap. They are laggy and it took me 10min to find a game that actually connected, then all i had to deal with was the noticeable delay between when i pressed the button and when something actually happened, which in a timing based game is a pretty big deal. Plus, i can't even play with half my friends because of connections issues, issues i have never had in the past with games hosted on Xbox's servers. EA is junk, money money money. This game is getting sold back when Game Stop opens in the morning. Expand
