Sep 12, 20122Very poor fighting game. It is much to noob-friendly, and the small amount of combos make this a very poor game, not to mention the boring, personality-less character roster. Only play this if you are a MK fan.

Apr 28, 20110Terrible and lowbrow garbage. Once I heard the line, "If you land a punch, than you owe me lunch", I sighed and repeatedly slammed a frying pan against my head in order to block the memories of the worst, and most hillbilly game ever made.

Apr 21, 20114It's more of a slap on the back for long time MK fans than a warm embrace. It's like a bad movie that you go to see just for the special effects. Regardless of what anyone says, it feels like UMK3 on training wheels.

Jun 8, 201188I enjoyed this new vision of Mortal Kombat more than any previous edition in the franchise. It has some issues, mostly in the single-player game, but all the hardcore fighters are here for the human-on-human interactions so it probably isn't a deal-breaker. If you love Mortal Kombat or just want to play an uber-violent and bloody fighting game then Mortal Kombat is the reigning champ and definitely worth adding to your collection.

May 22, 201179Unremarkable, but it's puerile charm makes it more than the sum of its (body) parts. [July 2011, p.87]

May 20, 201150Borderline broken as a fighter, but, taken on its own meagre merits, a giggle to mess around with. Still, though, it falls a long way short of what could have been. [Issue#72, p.80]
