Best-looking and best-playing motorcycle racer yet. Enough said.

Very nice motorcycle racing game with great graphics, textures, lighting and models. Only downside is that the decal maker is completely useless since you can only see the sides of the bike, but not the top and the decals look very low res and jagged compared to everything else in the game. And putting them on is very painfull since moving the stick one direction makes the decal go in a completely different direction, such as pushing up makes it go right. Obviously, these things handle different from cars so some people will think it's too hard and stay away, hurting the sales as with every other Mtoto GP game ever. But it's definately worth putting the time into and most will agree once they take a corner perfectly for the first time, and it's one of the best looking games on the 360 up to this point if that helps the rest of the jaded 360 crowd figure out whether to get it or not. This game is great, if you like racing and want to be challenged... loosing the other two wheels is the best thing you can do for the speed demon in you. The learning curve is steep but once you get the hang of it.

Game that had potential ruined by a twitchy handling system and being completely unforgiving.4-player split screen is the only good thing about MotoGP 06,which is unfortunate.

MotoGP may only bring a handful of new bikes and tracks, but it’s still a handsome package. [July 2006, p.82]

A staggeringly high poly count and sumptuous dynamic lighting mean haring down a straight at 230 mph on a 1200cc superbike is a genuinely electrifying experience. [July 2006, p.76]
  3. It seems all those evenings spent in containers sampling engine revs were time well spent, then - indulgence is a glorious thing when it's put to such good use.
