  • Summary: [Xbox Live Arcade] In a futuristic world of inadvertently homicidal robots, a daring ninja must use deft acrobatic skill and guts of steel to survive. N+ is a peerless action-puzzle platformer with more than 300 levels in which to hone your ninja reflexes, plus a built-in level editor for when you're hungry for more. N+ also features unique, physics-based controls, stylish graphics, unlimited lives, competitive and cooperative multiplayer, plenty of gold, and several flavors of sweet, sweet action. Running, jumping, and dying in an unpleasant-yet-comical manner has never been more fun. N+ features run-and-jump gameplay with hilarious ragdoll physics. It's easy to get into, but challenging enough for the hardcore gamer. Featuring well over 300 all-new levels, the game also includes a built-in level editor for players to create their own levels. Additional level packs, including the classic N levels from the PC version, and multiplayer level packs, will be available in the future. Multiple cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes are included. Try survival, race, or co-op play. Each level can be replayed to see how fast you completed the level. Check out additional ninja costumes for both single-player and multiplayer games, and skin your dashboard the N+ way. [Metanet Software] Expand

  1. Simple, elegant and hopelessly addictive. [Feb 2008, p.103]
  2. N+ is a reminder that flashy graphics and high concept gameplay are not necessary to create a killer casual game. Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best.

Sure, you can download its predecessor for free on your PC, but with more levels, console controls and a bumped-up look, N+ feels like a new experience.
  4. If you’re in the market, Xbox live market to be precise, for a fun, fast paced puzzle game then I’d say the 800 points is worth it.

A reflex champion and perfectionist's dream game. N+ features a tremendous amount of challenge without being overly frustrating, great controls and literally hundreds of stages between single player, co-op and multiplayer vs. modes. While the graphics look like an old Atari title, the physics, music and style are top notch. The only hang up I have about this game is that there are some hiccups during online play, though usually the game runs smoothly. In total, N+ is a great value at only 800 points (while free on the PC, the controller support and live features are well worth it) and is one of the best, if not the best, game featured on xbox live arcade so far. My recommendation is that you will greatly enjoy this title if you found the demo to be even a little bit engaging. Plus, what other game features as many bad puns? I'll see you N+ the game! Expand

Single-player starts off a lot of fun but gets incredibly frustrating and difficult towards the end. It will really test your patience, maybe like no game you've ever played. The "zero margin for error" difficulty towards the end takes most of the fun out of the game. Multiplayer is cool if you can find someone else to play. Expand
