  1. A great title that's fantastic value for any hard-headed platforming fan, thanks to its rock-solid game mechanics and a wealth of content and modes.
  2. N+ is an exciting throwback to 2D platforming that improves upon the formula in almost every way.
  3. Simple, clean, basic and beautiful!
  4. Despite some level design and DLC uncertainties, N+ is absolutely a must buy for any self-respecting 360 owner. N+ adds lots of new, great stuff to an already incredible platformer; with its multiplayer modes, level editor, and wonderfully intuitive-yet-deep controls, there's enough here to satisfy diehard N fans and franchise newbies alike.
  5. The multiplayer options are sweet, too, but you'll probably spend more time with the single player game. N+ rocks.
  6. 100
While N+ is frequently challenging, it never devolves to the level of senseless head gripping difficulty that has been seen in similar games, as it strikes a nice balance in difficulty.
  7. Simple, elegant and hopelessly addictive. [Feb 2008, p.103]
  8. It offers nothing but challenge: Players have to accomplish such platforming staples as making precise jumps, timing a dash past missiles and electrified robots, and jumping all the way up a wall with perfect grace.
  9. It may not look or sound like much but N+ is nevertheless a beast of a game in terms of gameplay and challenge.
  10. An incredibly fun game. Although its difficulty level can sometimes drive you up the wall, the simplistic, addictive gameplay is more than enough to keep you glued to your X360 for hours.
  11. Its mixture of razor-sharp design and old-school joy make this as close to a must-buy as you're likely to come. [Issue#31, p.116]

If you appreciate the art of focus, gravity, and near-death evasions then this title is a must buy. To round out this package; N+ also includes time-based leaderboards, level editor, co-op and competitive multi-player, and (everybody’s favorite) achievements; combine all of these elements and you have one of the best reasons to spend 800 Microsoft points.

It will really test your patience, maybe like no game you've ever played. The "zero margin for error" difficulty towards the end takes most of the fun out of the game. Multiplayer is cool if you can find someone else to play. Full Review »

N+ features a tremendous amount of challenge without being overly frustrating, great controls and literally hundreds of stages between single player, co-op and multiplayer vs. modes. While the graphics look like an old Atari title, the physics, music and style are top notch. The only hang up I have about this game is that there are some hiccups during online play, though usually the game runs smoothly. In total, N+ is a great value at only 800 points (while free on the PC, the controller support and live features are well worth it) and is one of the best, if not the best, game featured on xbox live arcade so far. My recommendation is that you will greatly enjoy this title if you found the demo to be even a little bit engaging. Plus, what other game features as many bad puns? I'll see you N+ the game!
