Oct 30, 201287NBA 2K13 really proves to be the king of sport franchises. The music, the atmosphere, the total package this basketball palooza breathes NBA and America. All there is left to say is that 2K13 basically is a slam dunk on all fronts.
-
Oct 2, 201286The game looks great and plays extremely intuitively, whether you stay with the buttons or go to the new right stick mechanics.
-
Nov 25, 201284A decent if slightly light upgrade to this thoroughly enjoyable B-Ball sim. [Christmas 2012, p.94]

Jan 7, 201382This is still a great game, and sports fans will love this, but for those still clinging to NBA 2K11 or 2K12, you'll want to take the plunge if you really need that roster update or desperately want to play as the Dream Team.

Mar 8, 201380This is a welcome new standard for sports videogames as a whole and with any luck, will generate interest in getting the audio right. There are only so many places left to make it new and NBA 2K13 has crossed another off the list.
-
Oct 25, 201280NBA 2K13 sits at the intersection of basketball and hip-hop culture, and Jay-Z's production sensibilities marry the two beautifully.

-
Oct 9, 201280Physics complaints, menu screens and minor control issues aside, NBA 2K13 goes above and beyond the rim, packing in an enormous amount of content both on and off the court, providing yet another another slam dunk installment for 2K Sports.
-
Oct 8, 201280NBA 2K13 is phenomenal, if familiar. Go in with the right expectations, and you'll be enjoying it all season long.
-
Oct 9, 201270The bar has definitely slipped a notch or two, and while it may be the best basketball game you'll play this year, being the best by default isn't enough.
-
Oct 6, 201270For the first time since it went from being a good basketball game to a cultural touchstone, it's taken a step backwards. The controls have become far too complex for much of its audience, and there's no one mode that captures your attention as much as the now-absent Jordan and Greatest challenges.
