Pid is not only fun and challenging, but nice to look at as well. It's one of those games that needs to be experienced first hand as screenshots and video will not do it justice. If you are still on the fence, I recommend trying out the demo as always to see if it's a good fit for you.

Pid is an excellent game without being aggressively in your face about it. It's slow-paced, thoughtful, and full of quiet moments fraught with melancholy. It's also fun, and that's the most important thing of all.

Pid is a clever little indie title that looks great, sounds great, and provides a decent challenge. Sure, there's currently an almost overwhelming deluge of triple-A blockbusters due to the holiday gaming season, but don't let that distract you from the indie goodness that is Pid.

With Kurt's character design, the smoothness in his movements, and the challenges he faces, I couldn't help but compare Pid to the award-winning Limbo. That said, Pid's exceedingly inviting visual style is a marked contrast to the overbearing sense of dread and isolation in Playdead's 2010 platformer.

For only $10 Pid offers far more content and a more enjoyable experience than many titles available on the marketplace. If you're a platforming junkie, don't let Pid pass you by.

Brimming with subdued pastel colors, hand-drawn characters, and a trippy, jazzy soundtrack, Pid's aesthetic is peculiar but challenging enough to be fun. [Nov 2012, p.85]

This game not only challenges you to think outside the box but to have the endurance to continue thinking that way until the level is over and the boss is beaten.

An eccentric but highly enjoyable platformer. [Christmas 2012, p.97]

A bad game it isn't, it just takes time to adjust to. Once you get the hang of abilities and figure out the right tempo for puzzle solving, you're in for one moderately enjoyable trek.

Pid offers 12 hours of of pure joy with a lovely story and amongst the best music we've had in an indie game all year.

Pid summons a bizarre scenario full of weird characters and situations. The art design is simple, but very unique, the direction is plain but mysterious.

I really like Pid, despite its faults. It routinely makes me feel smart and suave, and it manages its tone pitch-perfectly: sad without being maudlin, effectively capturing childhood without being mawkish or explicit. It's plagued somewhat by a misunderstanding of its strengths, but when the design -- of its levels, its characters, its aesthetics -- comes together, it's a beautiful little gem.

Pid is just as atmospheric as Fez and as grueling as Braid, but it's the little details of its execution that keep it from flawlessness.

Is Pid a good game yes but it has issues and is not for everyone the graphics are awesome and the design is quirky and cute however the gameIs Pid a good game yes but it has issues and is not for everyone the graphics are awesome and the design is quirky and cute however the game looses it's charm about near the Crook boss and by the way the bosses suck but I will talk about that later anyways Pid is mostly a atmospheric platformer and the main mechanic is the gravity wells and it is a cleaver concept but it isn't used to it's full potential but it is still fun and the story is cool but slows down halfway which is the problem the story feels dragged on and it started getting dragged still fun just not memorable and the music is amazing! but the bosses just plain suck the waiter boss is okay but the crook, Granny and Prince just are terrible and luck based but even with those issues I would at least look at this game.
