Working closely with Williams to ensure authenticity of each of the games, the collection is highlighted by some of the most popular and innovative Williams pinball tables, including Gorgar, the first-ever talking pinball machine, Black Knight, which introduced "Magna-Save" and Bonus Ball, and Space Shuttle, which took the pinball industry by storm in 1984. Every table has been meticulously recreated to bring players the visuals, sound effects and gameplay that made these games legendary successes. Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection harkens back to the arcades of the 1980s. Players begin Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection with access to four pinball tables, and the remaining four tables are unlocked as the game progresses. Players can spend as little as two minutes on a quick pinball challenge, or delve deeper into the game, gaining rewards in a token-based system as they unlock each of the pinball tables. Single-player Arcade and Challenge modes provide hours of solo entertainment, and a Multiplayer mode lets players face each other head-on. [Crave Entertainment] Expand

  1. This game not only recreates 13 of the best pinball machines of all time, but it also offers some of the best pinball physics around.

Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection is a must-have for any fans of pinball, and well worth checking out by anybody who is just looking for a fun game that offers something different from the run of the mill shooters, RPGs, and action titles that dominate the holiday release schedule.
  3. The tables are near perfect re-creations of the Williams originals—not only in look and feel, but in how they play. I was stunned at the quality and entertainment value.
  4. With the cheaper price point, it’s hard to resist this if you are a pinball lover or want to relive some authentic pinball action.
  5. In essence, though nothing beats being in front of the actual machines and feeding in a quarter to square off with it, Pinball Hall of Fame – The Williams Collection is about as close as the video game medium allows for.
  6. You don't need me to tell you that digital pinball isn't for everyone. And Pinball Hall of Fame isn't a perfect re-creation of the original tables. But if you're already into playing pinball on a TV, the variety of tables and the bargain price makes Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection a solid addition to your library.
  7. However, the game is enjoyable overall, though really only a ‘must have’ for those who can score a million points with their eyes closed and one hand tied behind their back.

They absolutely nailed the camera and controls. Even better, the 360 version has 3 more tables than the PS2, PSP, and Wii versions... and all 3 are fantastic tables (Medieval Madness, Tales of the Arabian Knights, and No Good Gofers). Its unlockables also make it very, very addictive. Expand

I love this game! The 360 version is awesome with the inclusion of the 3 new tables, which just so happen to be the best tables in the game. I love this game! The 360 version is awesome with the inclusion of the 3 new tables, which just so happen to be the best tables in the game. My only complaint would be that I wish they included more of the tables from the 90s, they were so much better than the earlier ones. Also I wish they had some of the Movie/TV licensed tables. Other than that the game is awesome! Expand

Best set of tables I've seen in a video pinball game yet. The ball physics are perfect and the way they structured the table goals and unlockables keeps you playing without being too trustrating. My only gripe is that there needs to be some improvements to the Xbox Live leaderboards. They should add a Friends-only filter and weekly and monthly leaderboards in addition to the basic All-Time leaderboard. Expand
