  1. A great game at heart, but not without its flaws.
  2. Its presentation is rather basic and the controls can be a little imprecise on occasion, but overall it does what it's advertised to do well enough.
  3. The Survival and Puzzle modes are plenty of fun and provide two very different experiences. Offering your mind and reflexes equal workouts, these two options save Polar Panic from being an entirely flawed experience, and one that should give fans of the genre at least a weekend’s worth of fun for 800 Microsoft Points (or about $10).
  4. To summarise, Polar Panic has a certain sparkle about it as a kid’s puzzle game. It’s rather self explanatory, uncomplicated and simplistic, but in a way, that’s quite a breath of fresh air from the land of modern games where everything has to be sophisticated in some way or manner.
  5. Official Xbox Magazine UK
Not as cool as it could have been. [Mar 2010, p.115]
  6. X-ONE Magazine UK
A dull, listless experience that only offers a challenge due to artificially imposed constraints. Irritating stuff on dual fronts, then. [Issue#56, p.105]
