  1. Prison Break - The Conspiracy is an okay stealth-action-mix but only for the fans of the TV-series.
  2. Gameplay mechanics are probably boring on the long run, but fans of the TV show will surely like the way developers handled this license with a new side story and character.
  3. Overall, Prison Break – The Conspiracy should have been a fitting tribute to a very clever TV series, but turns out to be falling more in line with the final series – a big anticlimax.
  4. 60
All in all, Prison Break: The Conspiracy is an okay game that doesn't do all that much to differentiate itself from other television/movie-based tie-ins.
  5. Despite the stiff stealth/fighting mechanics, the mission’s linearity and the trial/error experience, Prison Break: The Conspiracy somehow ended up being enjoyable. I’m sure Zootfly could have done something much better, but in the end, the final product was purposely done with the intention of giving the fans something incredibly easy to play.
  6. Prison Break: The Conspiracy offers nothing new under the sun, with a lackluster gameplay and a forgettable story. Lovers of the TV series should keep watching it instead of playing this game.
  7. 55
Prison Break: The Conspiracy shows you in the right way the whole prison and the story of Michael. Unfortunately the graphics scores far below and the gameplay is a little disappointing. These are the factors, the final grade of this game is nearly enough.
  8. When a game that is situated at a prison feels like a punishment, one could think, that the game reaches its goal. Games should be fun, but this prison adventure drop's the soap as soon as the game starts. [May 2010]
  9. Flawed in so many ways, this feels like a rushed product, and even though the voice acting is by most of the actors from the show, it feels as uninspired as the rest of the game.
  10. ZootFly had good chances with Prison Break: great characters, a fascinating setting and a good plot. It's all still intact, but sadly the gameplay is completely pointless. Clumsy stealth sequences aside, what's left is some dumb brawling and unrewarding fitness. Better save the money and go back to enjoy Scofield & co. adventures where they belong, on your DVD player.
  11. Prison Break brings trial and error, a poor story and awkward controls. Lock it up and throw away the key!
  12. Fans of the TV show may get some enjoyment out of this title, but anyone else will want to steer clear of Prison Break.
  13. As a side-story to the series, The Conspiracy falls utterly flat—so it's lucky that it fares much better as a game than as a spin-off.
  14. A game for Prison Break fans to play through on a wet and soggy weekend perhaps? Though you'd probably have more entertainment in a real prison cell, or at least about the same.
  15. Unless you're gung-ho to get 600-plus gamerscore in six hours, you're better off just revisiting the TV show. [Jun 2010, p.82]
  16. Fancy time with Scofield, Sucre, Abruzzi and co? Buy the first season on DVD; it's much more fun.
  17. Despite the involvement of many of Prison Break stars, The Conspiracy is just a game developed to make money with the pretext of its popular IP.
  18. Licensed games can get away with a lot, but this doesn't even reach mediocre quality, with its core mechanics becoming woefully boring a fraction into the campaign.
  19. Not even the most dedicated fan of the TV show could find this piece of garbage entertaining. Lock this let-down up and throw away the key.
  20. If you are a big Prison Break fan and you still want to experience this title for yourself then do yourself a favor and rent it before you buy it so you know what you are getting into. Everyone else should just go watch the show via Netflix instant streaming.
  21. Beyond a faithful representation of the TV series for what concerns atmosphere and characters, Prison Break: The Conspiracy proves to be a mediocre game, whose numerous faults, like the excessive linearity and frustrating stealth situations, give birth to a boring and repetitive gaming experience that won’t satisfy neither the fans of the show nor casual gamers.
  22. 40
As the plodding narrative progresses, these repetitive fighting and stealth tasks grow quickly tedious.
  23. Prison Break is a disappointment on all fronts. The fighting system has been badly implanted and the presentation is lacklustre. The only redeeming features are the sneaking around and the development of the plot, but it’s not enough to keep this game from falling flat on it’s face. Someone throw the keys away.
  24. If you've never seen the TV series there is no reason to purchase this game and if you have, there's still no reason to purchase it.
  25. 35
The events of Prison Break: The Conspiracy run concurrently with those of the series’ first season. It’s outcome is the same... and it doesn’t reveal anything that will please fans or cast new light on the show’s characters or plot lines.
  26. If you want to live a long and healthy life, avoid at all costs.
  27. 32
When the only reason you're compelled to continue playing a game is to point and laugh at how badly the entire thing has been thrown together, you know that it has major problems.
  28. Usually, spin-off games can fall back on their inherited audience of existing fans, but with a pointless story that adds nothing to a tale already completed, it's hard to see how even the most devoted follower could get more than an evening of mild amusement from such a scrawny experience.
  29. A lazily cobbled-together, bargain basement piece of shovelware that deserves neither your time or money.
  30. If you're a fan of Prison Break, why not consider assaulting some strangers and being sent to a real prison? You'll end up feeling marginally less violated than if you played this dog turd tie-in.
  31. You'll pray for an early release from this cheap and nasty, and strangely belated, TV tie-in.
  32. There's a quaint and mostly enjoyable familiarity to it all, but it's something only fans of the television series will appreciate, and then only momentarily. For anyone else, well, the horse is already dead.
  33. Fans of the TV series might enjoy some scenes of the game, but the rest of the player should escape from the Prison Break videogame.
  34. Although the game's stealth and combat elements are initially playable, they soon become dull and repetitive due to the uninspiring missions and tedious plot. [Issue#58, p.95]
  35. This stealth game takes all the fun out of life in prison.
  36. No matter how big a Prison Break fan you are, no matter how forgiving you can be, The Conspiracy is an abject failure on all counts.
  37. It’s only been out for a couple of weeks and it’s already getting heavily discounted by some retailers – and there’s a whole bunch of reasons for that. I don’t care if you’re a fan of the show, it’s just not worth it.

First off this game is a lot more enjoyable if you have watched the series (or at least season 1)
You take control of an undercover agent in fox river penitentiary, sent to investigate Michael Scholfield.
The story of the game revolves around the events that unfold in season 1, it is put together well and the outcome is an amazing story that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Gameplay is somewhat average, involving a basic cover to cover stealth system, and very simplistic fighting mechanics. It was nice to hear the dubbing done by most of the original actors, but characters seemed too lifeless. You will often see scenes from the series play out in-game and realise that you are sometime a cause of those events or deal with the aftermath. Overall a solid story with good twists but gameplay seems last gen.
9/10 for story, 6/10 for graphics, 5/10 for gameplay.

Mediocre is the best way to describe this game. It's very average across the board and would really only appeal to hardcore fans. The stealthMediocre is the best way to describe this game. It's very average across the board and would really only appeal to hardcore fans. The stealth system works well enough but lacks any imagination. Getting spotted is instant game over. Theres also a simplistic boxing mechanic for the few action oriented portions. I'd suggest giving this game a rent if your a big fan of prison break and feel like sneaking around some of Michael Scofields old haunts. Full Review »
