  • Summary: The PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER franchise has long been regarded as offering incredible realism and control, however PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 2011 will reinvigorate the series with the most advanced set of improved gameplay additions, control options and to catch up with the evolution of the real-life soccer. Central to its total freedom of play, PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 2011 introduces a power bar for each player that allows the user to determine the exact strength and placement of every pass and shot. Balls can now be spread absolutely anywhere with surgical precision, with long balls into space, short passes to feet, and intricate one-twos allowing the player to dictate play and control the tempo of a match. PES 2011 continues the Pro Evolution Soccer revolution that started with last years instalment and delivers a playing experience that long term fans of the franchise are more accustomed to. With all the improvements it easy to say this is the best PES game in years.
  2. PES 2011 marks the beginning of a serious comeback for Konami's soccer with many play modes, an improved gameplay and at last a flawless online multiplayer.
  3. Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 is a reboot of the series: pace and reactions had toned down for a boost in realism and the "360 degrees pass" system does a great job in involving the player on the pitch. Unfortunately there's a consistent lack in animation quality that spoils the experience.

Pro Evolution Soccer received a complete make-over with new modes and gameplay elements. Although not as good as FIFA, Konami has build a foundation that can beat FIFA in the coming years.
  5. But it's the first title in years to rekindle a passion I had for the series, the one I had back when I were a lad and Pro Evolution Soccer ruled the football landscape with an iron fist and cheeky grin. Now it's finally back on track.

After a run-and-pass arcade footballer, then pick up PES. Anything else, then FIFA's ahead by a long shot.

The gameplay is a lot of fun-despite the slower pace-and the combination of online and off-line options will keep you busy throughout the season.

No need to elaborate this. Simple recipe from Konami kitchen that we consume for years. Of course there are flaws but i spent so many hours playing this that it would be at least inappropriate to comment on those. Must have for everyone who loves real soccer experience. Expand

The game is very good. Beautiful graphics, realistic control and a lot of interesting innovations. This is soccer simulator, not beautiful tv translation control. Collapse

    80. Is difficult to review this game. I love the PES franchise. This game is more difficult than the others PES games and that's a good thing. The pass control is not easy but is more realistic than ever Expand

Better than previous versions of PES. It's not great, but this is the path to go. It's more fun to play against someone this than FIFA.

With the new spasctic physics engine, Konami shot itself in the head. TERRIBLE game with various flaws, stupid shooting system and offering no fun at all if you played PES 6 or PES 2010 before. Expand
