    Like Trenched before it, Rock of Ages offers a fresh, action-oriented twist on the tower defense genre, along with a welcome, zany aesthetic. It's a curiosity, for sure, but if you enjoy the offbeat, you cannot go wrong here. Hats off to Atlus yet again for bringing something new and interesting to the table.

    The single player campaign is an exercise in banging your head against brick walls until they break. Depending on the quality of your friends list, the long-term value of Rock of Ages probably lies in the chaotically level playing field of human-versus-human multi-player.

    Rock of Ages is a novel idea and one that has some potential, but it feels like the balance between offense can defense in the game just isn't quite right.

    Unique, creative, humorous, innovative, charming, and fun. All this of course means cynical reviewers won't like it for the most part. They need advertising dollars and exclusives to give it a good score. Gamers who enjoy playing games will love it.… Expand

    Totally funny! Interesting Ages, nice art style. Crude humor and very entertaining. I would buy that game again every single day. Even again, a very original game. Please, I want more of that.… Expand

    You will have fun with this game, guaranteed! The introduction clips to each level are hilarious, the action is frantic, and the game play is addicting. If you have kids, it's a great way to push the curiosity to find out about the art style and moment in history of each level (although the relevance of the "historic" characters chosen is questionable in many cases). The defense system is a bit off, though, but if you can master it, it will become relevant in some matches. If you are one of those gamers who have been complaining about lack of originality in games lately, you have to check this one out!… Expand
