  1. There are so many clips and questions packed into this game that you’ll likely still be having fun long after your first game. The game also saves which questions each player has seen, making it much more difficult for a repeat question until well after seeing the majority.

A very interesting movietrivia. The questions and puzzles are pleasantly varied. [Jan 2008]
  3. A nice side effect from playing Scene It is that it makes you want to go back and watch a movie you haven’t seen in a long time or even check out an older film you had never heard of before. (Caveman is going straight into my Netflix queue, btw).
  4. So if you’re looking for a great party game this holiday season, and you happen to like movies, there isn’t anything better than Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action. Even by yourself, the game provides a lot of fun, but it gets even better when you play with others.
  5. After just four or five enormously fun games of Scene It?, we’d racked up 27 Achievements worth over 600 points — great! We just can’t comprehend why there’s no online film festival.
  6. While I'm disappointed that the controllers are infrared and there's no online play, Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action is a solid entry in the casual area of games.
  7. If you’re a fan of movie trivia, the original Scene It? board game then Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action is must have.

If you throw a lot of parties or have people over often, this is a good game to have on hand, especially if you're just looking to have a night of casual fun with some friends. [Feb 2008, p.82]
  9. Overall, the game is very enjoyable and a good attempt at bringing a new crowd onboard to the Xbox scene.
  10. Unless they patch the game to allow for Live play against others or release downloadable questions to add on, Scene It may be a fantastic party game with a short shelf life. As it stands, if you are planning to have friends and family over for the holidays, Scene It and Rock Band make up fantastic family fun that rivals anything going on the Wii.
  11. It's nothing revolutionary, but the Big Button Pads add a new competitive element, and the new questions will entice fans of silver-screen trivia. This could actually see a lot of action during holiday get-togethers if you've got a bunch of movie buffs in your family.
  12. Nearly anyone can plop down on couch and get enjoyment out of Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action in a party setting, which makes this Microsoft/Screenlife collaborative a success. But for the game and franchise to have any legs on the Xbox 360, downloadable content and some form of Live tie-in is a must.
  13. Plain and simple, “Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action” is a great party game for the Xbox 360.
  14. That being said, as far as quiz based multiplayer games go, Scene it! Lights, Camera, Action does exactly what it says on the tin. The game randomises questions perfectly, so the same puzzles rarely crop and the Wireless controllers are a joy to use. However, unless Microsoft adds further games to the series, or even downloadable content, both the game and controllers will inevitably have a limited life-span.
  15. Scene It?'s brand of movie trivia is one that will be enjoyed by both casual and hardcore movie fans.

While Scene It? is only just full enough of movie quizzing to hold up for several parties, it's a near-perfect translation from tabletop to 360 and, in fact, probably plays more closely to what its original creators intended.
  17. The game tracks which questions each player has seen and populates each quiz with fresh puzzles.
  18. Even with the strikes against it, Scene It? is fun with a few other players and it’s accessible enough that even the non-gamers can play.

Few trivia games have ever gone to the lengths this game does to keep things fresh, and the fact that it comes with 4 controllers means that everyone can play, right away. The fact that downloadable content is on the way is a big plus... this game could easily last for years. Full Review »

Tons of fun for anyone that is a teenager on up (it is a bit tough for younger kids because they will not know most of the movies). This is better than any prior version of Scene It because the 360's hard drive eliminates duplicate questions. If you like movies, this is a great game to play with your friends and family! However, it is so much fun that we will probably play through all the questions in not too long, so I really hope that they issue some downloadable extra content through X-Box Live! (You hear that Microsoft-- I will be willing to buy a download for this game, so get to work!) Full Review »

Good game if not a bit tedious waiting for the next set of questions.
