  1. This is clearly a game designed for light-hearted communal family play, with everyone chipping in with suggestions of what to photograph. And, on those terms, Sea Life Safari is a sweet, amusing and enjoyable little experience.
  2. If the premise of taking photos of fish on rails sounds good to you, then you won't be disappointed — and if it doesn't, then move along because there's nothing to see here.
  3. My 4-year-old said the worst part of the game was "having to turn it off," which probably tells you all you need to know! [July 2008, p.64]
  4. There's no doubting that Sea Life Safari is a relaxing and calming experience, some may say mind numbing. It's difficult to see where the claimed “unlimited replayability” enters the picture.
  5. X-ONE Magazine UK
    A soothing distraction. [Issue#34, p.116]
  6. Official Xbox Magazine UK
A fun concept, but the lack of depth turns it into a snorkelling trip rather than an undersea odyssey. [Aug 2008, p.95]
  7. Not a game, more a visual toy to keep your wee ones amused but without returning to the same tired old grumble about Xbox Live Arcade titles, 800 points is too high a price for the Xbox equivalent of an interactive screensaver.

Sea Life Safari is just plain short. After 3 hours of play, I had access to all of the levels, had captured every species of fish in my log book, and had unlocked every Achievement except the one for finding all of the golden shells in the game.
  9. Although Sea Life Safari is clearly geared toward the younger crowds it is a family friendly title that all ages can enjoy.
  10. Games Master UK
    Simple, soothing. [Sept 2008, p.84]
  11. There's so little to the game that it's hard to imagine it holding anyone's interest for long.
  12. Paying 800 points for this game nets you a pretty dry experience.

They were totally engrossed with the mechanics of the game and it is completely non-violent and cute little game for the tikes. Far too simple for grown-ups, which is probably why the score is a bit low. Full Review »
