  • Summary: ShellShock 2: Blood Trails is a violent, first-person, survival horror game set against the backdrop of the Vietnam War. Gameplay centers on the use of psychological horror and fear, relying on the power of suggestion, mood, tension and foreshadowing - implying the notion of danger, potential danger, imminent danger, and horrifying acts that have or are implied to have occurred or will come to pass. On course for war torn Vietnam, a plane carrying a top-secret cargo known only as Whiteknight is lost over the uncharted jungles of Cambodia. The special ops squad sent in to retrieve it disappear wtihout trace. Until, a month later, one of them walks out. Something in the darkness has driven him insane... Something from the darkness has followed him out. [Eidos Interactive] Expand

A budget title and it shows. The visuals, level design, AI, and just about anything else you can think of can't match up with the top-tier first-person shooters. On top of that, you only get 10 brief stages and no multiplayer options.
  2. Aside from the ridiculously terrible story, the 6 year-old graphics, broken AI, and lack of replay value, ShellShock 2: Blood Trails doesn’t sound too bad does it?
  3. ShellShock 2: Blood Trails spices up Vietnam with a liberal application of zombies, but the controls and the generic shooter gameplay leave a lot to be desired.
  4. Horror and shooter fans alike may find some cheap thrills within Blood Trails, but ultimately the majority of the game is quite simply a very unsatisfying experience.

I REALLY enjoyed this game! It had an amazing story and the graphics looked great! I have no clue why everyone says the sound, graphics, gameplay all suck. I think the only thing that sucked is no multiplayer and that it was short. Though, there are two endings, and I have beat it 3 times now and I am still not tired of it! Go rent it and try it, I am glad I bought it! Expand

Starting off this game will make you scared. Seeing soilders with no legs and meat hanging out is crazy. The game plays like most first person shooters and it looks really good. The only downfall is that your soilder will get overwhelmed with enemies and will die because he ran out of bullets. Besides that this game is worth playing. Expand

Cal wanted to show that the whole family was not the same and quickly moved up through the ranks with his bravery and courage.
Basically you need to get to cal and find out what White Knight is all about.

A crappy game. Not even worth the money. The game is easy even on the hardest difficulty, the story is ridiculous, and the flashlight is practically useless. DO NOT BUY. Expand
