One of my favorite XBLA games ever. With fun gameplay, witty dialogue that stays true to the show, huge levels, and a ton of fan service, this is THE game South Park fans have been waiting for.

An old-school 2D platformer that perfectly complements the South Park aesthetic. Overflowing with references to the series and filled with huge, well-designed levels, players will have a blast leading South Park's four main characters on a most urgent quest to retrieve their stolen Xbox hard drive.

Just get some friends around for some local play. In that situation alone, Tenorman's Revenge becomes fully entertaining. [June 2012, p.93]

Apart from its visuals and recognizable voices (when they're heard at all), there's nothing South Park about it and could have easily been any other multiplayer platform game; a pretty mediocre one at that.

  2. I think that the game is good, but not better like the tower defense game of two or three years ago, is good, have a great gameplay, the graphics are cool, the game is good, but I think that can be better. Expand
  3. Not what I'd call crap, nor will it win any awards for gameplay and innovation. South park:TR starts off with no intro, no story nothing, you just arrive in the future and begin your story. The premise is basically that you had your hard drive stolen by Scott tenorman, the ginger kid who was fed his parents by cartman as an act of revenge. So the game see's you trying to get it back whilst fighting off multiple ginger robots in this 2d platformer. Personally, I'm loving south park right now so I don't mind this game. It reminds me of the old era of 90s gaming where you jump on enemies to kill them. You play as one of the four characters each with their own ability, cartman can belly flop enemies, Stan can throw a football to stun, Kenny can jump high and Kyle can bypass security systems with his ginger hair. The game originally had you working as just one character I think, each one's unique ability helped them on their own unique path, so for example,to get lo a door, four routes would open up and you would choose the correct one for your character, now since the update you can change the character at will, this sort of takes the challenge out the game now. Graphics are identical to the show and your favourite characters make an appearance in some form. South park isn't brilliant but its a decent enough old school style platformer which will suit fans. Played in short intervals it can be ok and definitely looks better then the upcoming stick of truth RPG Expand
  4. It's fun for like 10 minutes but the it gets repetitive as **** It is a Beat Em' Up platformer with different weapons and abilities, but, it just do not satisfy me. I did have high ambitions on this XBLA game because of the amazing game, South Park: Tower Defense, but all i felt from it is it was a waste of my well earned money, but if you like South Park, and are into Beat Em' Up's, the you might wanna go for it, but i really don't even thinking of getting this game, just based on somebody's review. Because it is your choice, but just use these reviews to give you ideas. Just a random note there at the end. Expand
