  • Summary: Space Channel 5 Part 2 follows famed reporter and dancer Ulala as she battles the Rhythm Rogues-a group of villains led by the mysterious Purge and his right-hand man Shadow-in a quest to rescue thousands of people who have been kidnapped and forced to dance. Players will need to help Ulala move and "chu chu chu" her way to victory over these evil-doers before they succeed in taking over the universe with their ultimate dance-control weapon.

    Combine this originality with the great music, cute characters (including a rival called Pudding!), and entertaining premise - it might just keep a lot of people hooked in there until the very end... those of whom haven't run off screaming into the night at the idea of a kitschy dance rhythm game, keeping them away from their precious FPS time.

    Space Channel 5 Part 2 arrives to the HD era with the same spirit it had in Dreamcast: entertain. Its charming characters and gameplay style make this game lovable, both for newcomers and nostalgics.

    You're constantly doing the same thing in Space Channel 5: Part 2. You can only play it for a little while before the boredom kicks in. The game is weird and absurd, making it surprisingly charming.

    Space Channel 5 Part 2 has no online multiplayer, but you won't be lonely with all the people you save serving as your back up dancers. The game looks easy at first, but unless you find the secret commands, and actually execute them, you can't get a perfect score. There's only 6 levels and a bonus mode after you beat them, but you'll find yourself playing them over and over again to try to get a better score, or just enjoy watching the colorful and lively characters move their hips. Definitely reminds me of PaRappa the Rapper, you follow the computer character's commands and time them accordingly, but it's much better than that game.… Expand
