  1. In conclusion, Stoked is probably one of the most competent snowboarding games available that although has a rather high learning curve, if you do manage to put in the time, the gameplay mechanics will definitely be rewarding enough.
  2. Stoked is a decent snowboarding game, however the drawn out beginning is its downfall.
  3. As you do your first turn and notice your character eerily rotating through space in a box, no apparent bodily movement guiding the trick, the realisation dawns that there's almost no fun to be gleaned from satisfactorily pulling off a stunt in Stoked. [Nov 2009, p.112]

Finally i'm stoked on stokEd. It was a long time waiting for a new game in the tradition of Amped to hit Xbox. Besides some minor glitches this game surpasses all other snow games, maybe even Amped 2. Weather effects & mountains need to be seen to be believed and controls/physics feel instantly good (some FlickIt-Skate experience will definitely help here). Expand

Huge open world mountains, which offer loads of oppertunity. Dynamic weather, which makes the mountains feel bigger as they change based on conditions. An Expansive trick list and a long list of challenges make this game the spiritual successor of Amped 2. A few bad physics when touching rocks, trees, or other non snow related objects can be frustrating. Expand

  3. Graphically, one of the best sports games out there, along with the changing weather condition it really creates a realistic feel, but the lack of any real trick system sinks the game very soon after starting it up. Expand
