Tetris with added fish....whats not to like.Xbox live seems pretty busy 4 years after launch.Tetris splash is worth the point and is pure gaming goodness.

Tetris is one of the all time classics in gaming, a strategy/puzzle game that is as ageless as the finest drop of wine. The gameplay is still as addictive as we all remember it to be, and with soundtrack to boot, you will be stuck on this game for hours on end. Highly recommended purchase that should be in everyone's arcade collection!

A stripped-down version of Tetris with only two single-player modes and an overreliance upon paying for fish and other aquarium set-pieces is somewhat redeemed by online multiplayer. BONUS: Features a screensaver of your aquarium thus far. That's not really much of a bonus, on second thought.

A great, very worthy tetris game, leagues above Tetris evolution for 360. Tetris splash is what tetris evolution should have been. Peices can fall as fast as you can handle them, gameplay is quick, and online play is well planned and to the point. Matchmaking is simple and easy to get into, and scoring in this game is logical, providing reward for well-planned plays. Casual players will love the simplicity and the ability to add to the fish-tank-screen-saver dealio, and hardcore tetris fans will appreciate the tournament-level gameplay styling. One of my only regrets is that there isn't a built in tournament system. Sure, there is lots of downloadable content that may detract you, but the game is in no way incomplete with the base download. All of the extra downloadable content is related to aesthetic features, such as themes for your fishtank screensaver and the fish themselves. Its actually a cool side feature I appreciate. I have no problem calling Tetris splash the best tetris you can find on home consoles, but note that I do not consider the DS to be a 'home console'. Expand

Despite including an attractive screensaver, and maintaining the fun factor inherent in almost any iteration of Alexey Pajitnov's classic puzzler, Tetris Splash is dead in the water for those who already own any of the dozens of versions of Tetris available on almost every system.
  2. Save for its fish tank presentation, this is a wholly unremarkable version of Tetris.
  3. Tetris is Tetris, which means Splash is still supremely playable. But 800 points feels like an awfully high price. Especially when you can get a used copy of Tetris Evolution on the 360 for just a few bucks more.
