Telltale has taken over yet another well established series, put shoddy writing, shoddy gameplay, and worked the minimal amount to try to maximize profit. They learned nothing from The Walking Dead's technical difficulties or from the flaws in their writing. Yet people with half a bran will continue to praise these bland uncreative shoddy writers and allow them to continue to ruin Gaming. This year we saw LucasArts go down and I was sad, but the day I see that Telltales has gone down I will rejoice because it will be a day where gamers have shown that they are tired of the generic and poor writing that is Telltales. A sad title that unfortunately goes under the false pretense that It is a video game when In fact, by English definitions, It's clearly an interactive video. Much like It's excessively-bragged about predecssor, the smelly dead. People who want story, go back to reading the comics. People who want video-games, go find something else to play.

Superb beginning for the new series from Telltale. Fables tastefully mixes elements of noir films with supernatural elements to make an intriguing story with great rhythm and fantastic characters. We only wish the studio ironed out some bugs.

Telltale Games clearly has another hit on its hands and I cannot wait to see how this story unfolds… or more appropriately how I choose to unfold it.

The Wolf Among Us is novel but, as of its first episode, not really all that captivating, either as a game or a work of fiction. There’s a wealth of potential, though—enough that I’m entertained and looking forward to plot progression in Episode Two.
