  • Summary: Crafted by one of the co-creators of Call of Duty and other key developers behind the Call of Duty franchise, Titanfall, with its advanced combat techniques, gives you the freedom to fight your way as both elite assault Pilot and fast, heavily armored Titan. The experience combines fast-paced multiplayer action with the dramatically charged moments of a cinematic universe. Collapse

The 360 version of Titanfall holds up well as an overall experience, even though it is undoubtedly the worst way to experience the game, reflected in a quarter-point drop in score compared to the Xbox One and PC versions.

Bluepoint Game kicks anxiety to the curb with a smart, efficient port, that's fundamentally the same as Titanfall on Xbox One. If you can't afford a new console, save your pocket money for this.

While the PC and Xbox One versions are superior, the Xbox 360 port of Titanfall comes as close to their glory as one could possibly have hoped for.

It’s a breath of fresh air in an incredibly stagnant genre, and even though I’m not exactly a big fan of shooters, I’m enjoying this one. That said, the Xbox 360 port does feel a bit wanting - not due to graphical reductions, which are to be expected, but due to the overall lack of polish.

Some features from the Xbox One and PC versions are missing, but the essence of Titanfall is present in the Xbox 360 edition of Respawn's superb online shooter.

With the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall, EA offers the same fresh, new and different first person shooter experience of Xbox One. The lack of a solid Campaign mode and the disappointing number and variety of game modes are a shame, but this is still a very good way to start a new IP.

A competent shooter, but fails to replicate the fun, frantic pace or steadiness its next-gen cousin achieved by quite a way. [Issue#111, p.82]

What an incredible port to X360. Whilst it is not as sharp this certainly has the Titanfall game experience. Do not listen to the hater who say there are less weapons and modes - the game is EXACTLY the same as Xbox One Expand

ignore all the stupid Playstation fanboy's and butthurt idiots that bought the Xbox One. I personally have played this game on all 3 platforms and it is spectacular on all 3. If you are sick of CoD and Battlefield, or just want to experience an awesome fast paced game that whilst is stripped of many basic features that would get in a CoD (like name a class and map selection, ill admit that was a fail) but its the gameplay that counts and the gameplay is epic. As I have previously stated take my review over all the butthurt Playstation 12ies and buy Titanfall! Expand

Expand

Though I find the game-play itself lacking in some areas, ex: too much AI and no offline campaign, I enjoy playing this game. For a 360 game its graphics aren't terrible. The most recent update bothered me as you start out with level one. I believe you should earn that tile on the game personally. I am no expert nor a hardcore gamer just yet, however, I do enjoy this game thoroughly. Expand

Honestly, I bought this game in recommendation. I can say that, at the time, it was worth the 60$. But within a month of leaping onto titans backs, snapping unsuspecting necks of players and grunts, this game got old fast. The game has an amazing fresh new look on first person shooters. Something the genre NEEDS. but unfortunately when boiled down, its just another shooter. You start to realize the games true face as the hype and infatuation die down. Then you realize that not alot of mind blowing add ins are really "mind blowing" at all. It all begins to go stale fast. If you play alone, you wont have as much fun as you would with your friends. What really dissapoints me is that the AI in the game have 10x more tactical sense than the actual players. They hug walls, move into cover, etc. But players just fly around with little to no teamwork. In a way, its less tactical than the Call Of Duty franchise.

Short review i know, but i got my point across.

This game, while not a complete waste of time, is defiantly not worth the full retail price. Getting the negatives out of the way, the campaign feels like a string of multiplayer maps strung together with a plot written by a middle schooler. The guns have been done better in COD and Halo, and the titans were infinitely more entertaining and cool in Lost Planet. The free running never really clicks and the customization never seems to make a difference. It's still a fun play if you pretend there's not only one type of gameplay and you hadn't just payed $60 for something that feels like a DLC of an earlier COD title. Expand

One of the most overrated games I've had the displeasure of playing; this game is very shallow and doesn't really offer any creative style of play, just the illusion of creative play. The burn card system introduces too much random overpoweredness into encounters, the focus on killing minions makes it feel like a single player game that just happens to have other people in it, not enough game modes... only a few maps, though I don't think that matters since all the maps play essentially the same anyway, I've played through the entire first "gen" of this game and wouldn't be able to tell you the name of any of the maps because it just doesn't matter.

Also, the performance is just terrible on the Xbox One. For a game that only looks marginally better than an Xbox 360 game you'd expect not to have to deal with constant frame-rate stuttering and massive screen tearing, but alas, those are your constant companions in this game.

It is kind of sad that this game isn't even the best multiplayer-focused FPS game published by EA for the Xbox One, that honor would go to Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare which is much more fun and interesting than this steaming turd.
