  • Summary: 2011 - 2014. The world enjoys an unprecedented era of peace as enhanced defense technology eliminates the threat of nuclear war. But can it last? 2020. Constant depletion of resources has international tensions at a breaking point. One spark will ignite what no one thought could happen...a third and final world war. Strategy for the next generation: Led by creative director Michael de Plater (Rome Total War), EndWar promises to redefine strategy gaming. Designed for next-gen consoles EndWar creates a theatre of war, immersing you in the drama of World War III in a way you never thought possible. Fight For Your Nation: Pick a side US, Europe, Russia - the fate of the world is in your hands. If you don't step in to save your homeland, who will? Command Your Army: Grow your army into the most powerful force on the planet. Your army is completely customizable, and experience breeds strength - your units grow more powerful with every campaign you fight. Light Up The City of Lights: Tom Clancy's World War III won't be won by capturing remote deserts or grasslands but by striking countries in the heart. Paris, Moscow, Washington D.C. will all erupt in flames as you battle your way through the fully destructive playground. A Whole New Kind of Massive: EndWar is an online multiplayer experience unlike anything you've ever encountered. 16 player matchups? Try hundreds. 30 minute battles? Try persistent matchups lasting for months at a time. This isn't a skirmish, it's World War III. Talk Your Way to Victory: Put the controller aside and start shouting commands. EndWar can be played almost entirely via voice command. [Ubisoft] Expand

  1. Put very simply, EndWar is a must buy for any console owner that has been waiting for a console war game done right.
  2. With a completely new way to play a Real Time Strategy game and some excellent multiplayer gaming this is one game that is a must buy for strategy fans of any type. If it was not for a few minor issues with the game such as nothing south of the equator and a lack of a cool looking single player campaign presentation wise (it is a great campaign to play though) this would be one of the top 10 played games on Xbox Live for many months.
  3. Overall, Tom Clancy's End War delivers a solid gaming experience even to those who are not so much fans of the real time strategy games.
  4. So, Endwar has a novelty feature that works really well and is fun to use. It’s just a shame that there are some small issues, because this really could be the next step in console warfare.

Thanks to the voice commands (VC), playing this RTS is simple and user friendly! The VC allows you to become the commander and free up the controler insted of cramming a keyboard and mouse on a game contoller! The only thing thats isnt the best is the units and veiwing them, sometimes its hard to find units but over all AWSOME GAME 11/10~!~ Collapse

Great theme, great vision, but the game play just isnt that fun. The voice commands work really well, but the gameplay is very slow. I guess playing on the pc would have been better Expand
  3. Although you quickly realize that there isn't that much variety to the game-play it is incredibly satisfying barking orders to your troops.......when it understands you. It does get a little tedious when you have to repeat a command 5 or 6 times. Overall it is probably better as a rental since there is not enough replay value to keep you coming back. Expand

What's so special about this game? Did it bring anything new to Real Time Strategy -games, but voice-command? Only thing why people bother voting over 4, is because they don't accept the fact that they spent over 60 Expand
