  • Summary: In 2013, the U.S. Army will implement the Integrated Warfighter System (IWS), evolving what we know as the modern soldier. IWS combines advanced weapon systems, satellite communication devices and enhanced survivability into one fully integrated combat system. The IWS program has been developed to meet these new threats head on. Now, it can be tested on the battlefield. Following an insurgence in the heart of Mexico City, the U.S. Army's most elite Special Forces team is deployed to the center of the conflict to regain control of the city. Greatly outnumbered but fully equipped with the IWS, this elite team is the first and last line of defense on the battlefield. They are the "Quiet" professionals. They are the Ghosts. Gain access to the future of military technology. Using a fully integrated combat system with cutting-edge weapons and revolutionary communication systems, gamers embody the soldier of the future. Based on actual U.S. Army research, the Ghosts give gamers a realistic view of how war will be fought in the next decade. Use the revolutionary Cross-Com, a communication device powered by satellite technology. Attached to the soldier's monocle, the Cross-Com provides full situational awareness and command of the battlefield. Command the Ghost squad and remote allied forces and drones, and direct artillery and air strikes. See what the squad sees and receive visual and auditory intel from allied forces and unmanned drones. [Ubisoft] Expand

  1. Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter is stunning, exciting, fun and exhilarating to play, a great example of the 360’s power and online service and an essential title for all Xbox 360 owners.
  2. An achievement in tactical first person shooters. Ubisoft did a great job balancing the intense action on the screen with the high tech gadgetry needed to make it through in one piece.
  3. Some dumb AI and lack of specific unit control hold it back, but it's still amazingly fun.
  4. The game feels rushed. In spite of its obvious issues and glitches, GRAW is still a fantastic game. The presentation is incredibly realistic, dramatic and intense. The gameplay feels natural and smooth and the controls are very intuitive.
  5. At times challenging, and at others simply frustrating, you’ll need keen wits and grace under fire to deal with the obstacles presented in this title.

The whole cross-com idea, while a reasonably good addition in the single player mode, is an invaluable addition to the multiplayer. Combined with the use of the marker system, communication has never been easier making it the best multiplayer game on the machine currently.
  7. Horribly frustrating but deeply satisfying. [Issue #7]

Great addition to the Tom Clancy series. This is the best 360 game in my opinion to date. (2011) You love it or you hate it. Loved the multiplayer, Co-op and the Singleplayer was just amazing. Expand

It's a 360 showcase! I've read the other reviews adn most agree, this is a game that really shows off the 360. As to those who say there still isn't a decent next gen game, I ask what it will take to get the designation? I defy anyone to come up with a better looking game than this one. Expand

Awesome, finally a game that requires stealth and operates in a realistic manner...1 shot CAN kill you and there is no magical first aid kit to bring you back to 100% health. This forces you to think and take in the surroundings in its entirety. Only problem that I have is that there aren't enough levels (maybe because I play it too much) and some levels are extrememly harder than others. All up I wanted to give it 9+. Can't wait for a sequel or add on. Expand

Wish I could give it a 7.8. Lobby system is a joke. We pay for XBLive and ... can we just get a SOCOM setup ... PLEASE! Graphics are hot! Seems like a bit of a run & gun in multiplayer ... but I've only played one night. Expand

The dumbest fricken AI I have ever seen and its not the enemy AI its the team AI it sucks so bad I felt like throwing my conrtoller into the tv screen. It doesnt deserve the Tom Clancy name on it. I am terribly dissapointed I would rather bang my head into a wall or work on sawing my own foot off. I wanted to just take my 360 back and that is realy bad. Expand
