Very fun game and DLC! It was more of the same from Underworld but the best part of this game was the story line. They kept the story going and I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. The way they tied in Underworld to this and shadow were just awesome!

  1. It's perhaps unsurprising, given the matinee idol lineage of the series, that Lara Croft's set-piece adventures work so well carved into chunks, yet - even if it's not as long as you fancied, and there's a bit too much shooting - it's still a pleasure to spend a few more hours with one of gaming's most graceful legends.

It's laudable that Eidos is supporting Tomb Raider Underworld with additional downloadable content, but Beneath the Ashes is a weak level pack for the title. Extremely easy and short, those that have played Underworld or any other Tomb Raider game will be able to blow through this pack quickly and won't return for a second play through.
  3. The follow-up to the latest Lara game uses the same engine, offers some brand new environments and storyline. But, overall, it lacks depth, it's far too short and quite expensive for what it offers. Good ideas, not so well developed.
