• Summary: [Downloadable Content] Exclusive to Xbox Live, Tomb Raider: Underworld - Lara's Shadow allows gamers to experience Lara's universe from an entirely new perspective; that of the Doppelganger. With faster movement, shadow powers and a melee attack that decimates enemies with devastating accuracy and speed, the Doppelganger opens up all new gameplay mechanics, areas and puzzles which wouldn't be possible while playing as Lara Croft. 1. Lara's Shadow is far better than Beneath the Ashes, the previous add-on, and supposes a necessary change in the formula that brings more reasons than its predecessor to buy it.
  2. There's no doubt hardcore fans will warm to Lara's Shadow in a way that they probably didn't with the rather disappointing Beneath the Ashes. With zero replay value, this latest DLC feels a little overpriced on the whole, but as a proof of concept, it offers some interesting possibilities for the future direction of the Lara Croft series, and satisfies far more often than it frustrates.
  3. Not beefy enough to warrant the fat cash. [June 2009, p.96]

Just awesome!! Very very fun!! Eidos and CD really took this game to a whole new level. I was a bit worried to see how they were going to tie in the clone but after playing it, I couldn't ask for anything more! I just loved the whole story and the way it was laid out! They really have something to work with now in the future with both Lara and her badass twin :) Yes, maybe the 800 credits is a bit much but it is worth it to play out the game and end the story! I just wish Hollywood could write half as well as some of these games! Expand

Great addition. Improved combat was a lot more fun than shooting while running in circles. The game looks good visually, although it is a lot of similar scenery. A bit short and repetitive, however, so I think it's a little overpriced. Expand
