NateF.Apr 3, 20099Great addition. Improved combat was a lot more fun than shooting while running in circles. The game looks good visually, although it is a lot of similar scenery. A bit short and repetitive, however, so I think it's a little overpriced.

70There's no doubt hardcore fans will warm to Lara's Shadow in a way that they probably didn't with the rather disappointing Beneath the Ashes. With zero replay value, this latest DLC feels a little overpriced on the whole, but as a proof of concept, it offers some interesting possibilities for the future direction of the Lara Croft series, and satisfies far more often than it frustrates.
-
80Stronger than the previous pack in just about every way, Lara's Shadow provides players with much more than a basic adventure and a re-skinned character model. Instead, it provides a journey that hearkens back to the series' roots while providing a number of specialized abilities that can only be carried out by another character outside of Lara Croft.

50Lara's doppelganger is more attractive, flexible and charming than the original Lara, if that's possible. Great gameplay and fun, the game is still very short and quite expensive for what it offers. But the main problem is that it's repetitive. One level that we must replay twice, the second time with a higher difficulty, it's not what players are expecting for a DLC that lasts only for two hours.
