  1. Turning Point's minimalist approach to everything - from its stale levels and sticky controls to its thin plot and absent character development - killed what could've been a really unique and engaging shooter and will disappoint hardcore fans of the genre across the board.
  2. Despite Turning Point having a potentially good story it does nothing else than introduce the player to new levels filled with enemies that do not grow in intelligence or difficulty.

Unfortunately, the overall polish on the title can only be described as "a quick buff".
  4. The glitches and poor level design don’t quite ruin a game that should have been so much more than the sum of its parts. Still, there’s some fun to be had here with a weekend rental.
  5. Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is a fantastic concept that would make a great movie but doesn’t really evolve into much of a game mostly due to last-gen graphics and uninspired gameplay.
  6. Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is a novel idea on paper, but is ultimately let down by its shooter by numbers gameplay and under par presentation.

Shooting Nazis in the streets of three major U.S. cities should be a non-stop thrill ride that has me on the edge of my seat. This game provides the opposite experience.

Aside from the frustrating control inconsistencies and the abbreviated storyline, this is still a well-made trek through a history that thankfully never happened. Though the sluggish multiplayer mode doesn't even deserve a glance, the predominantly solid mechanics and terrifying premise make this a more than competent deviation for someone itching to kill more Nazis.

And while it’s a solid enough shooter that’ll largely cure the itch for frag-heads, it just fails to do anything to particularly excite.

The game's ultimate wrong turning is that it looks and plays like something released several years ago. [May 2008, p.88]
  11. This is a game for rent without a shadow of a doubt. The shortness and the general issues with it mean I can’t really recommend anything else.

But ultimately, the choppy multiplayer options and ultra-disbelief-suspending campaign deliver an uneven "What If" history lesson. [Apr 2008, p.74]
  13. Overall, Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is game which had some fantastic ideas and concepts. Unfortunately, the great ideas did not transform into a solid shooter.
  14. The innovation potential was in the story, though that only provides the setting for the gameplay. Outside of that, it’s pretty basic fare.
  15. Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is an excellent game idea that doesn’t live up to its potential. Turning Point is filled with dull missions, simplistic artificial intelligence, dated graphics, and a whole pile of over used mojo.
  16. After playing through just a bit of Turning Point, we were completely disappointed. The old feeling to it completely ruined the original concept.

Turning Point's theme of an alternate reality had some possibilities, but even within this fiction you just end up doing uninspired and overworked shootouts. [Apr 2008, p.63]

Enemies run into walls and you can stand a few feet away and take careful aim while they spray bullets everywhere but at you. In terms of finish it is woefully bad. However, if youre looking for some fairly unchallenging blasting for a few hours and you can get it for under a ten like I did, then its probably worth it but you might have more fun out of a game of cards. Turning Point Fall Of Liberty is a dreadful FPS that wastes an interesting premise.

Turning Point's first issue is the the horrible shooting mechanics. The guns have absolutely no punch to them.Another big issue here is the unforgivably retarded AI.They are horribly inaccurate and have absolutely no tactical organisation and the game follows all sorts of generic FPS cliches.

The graphics are terrible but the game's framerate remains stable throughout. The game has load times just like developer Spark Unlimited's other game Legendary that last about 2 minutes after you die.

The story here has potential,I won't spoil in case you want to play this piece of sh*t for some reason.

The sound design and soundtrack are awful too.

Overall,Turning Point Fall Of Liberty has to be one of the worst games for the 360.Avoid this at all costs.
