DroobeyDroobeyApr 4, 2009UNO is the popular card game where players can get rid same number or colour card than the person before them put down. When you have one card left, you can say UNO by pressing X. If you spot someone who hasn't you can press Y to force them to take two cards from the deck. There are also command cards that can help you along the way, like skipping the next persons turn, reversing the direction of play or changing the colour of the discard pile.
This next UNO game this brings some speed to the precedings as the name suggests, instead of just sitting there waiting for everyone to have their turn like in the old game. But you can't sit still after your turn. The game means you have to arrange your cards into order to try and discard them all in one go.
With this a new Command Card has been brought in - the shuffle card. This will shuffle the next players neatly arranged cards and make him miss his go to boot.
The graphics have had a overhaul and looks better than the old game but in a game like this that doesn't matter much. The game now supports 4 people playing locally on the same console, but some people may not be able to keep up with the game, not even yourself.
Overall a good upgrade that is worth buying if you haven't got the first UNO game. Add a star if you don't. Be warned though download the trial first to make sure you can keep up with it! If you have UNO, your points are better spent elsewhere.… Expand
The difficulty arises from the speed at which card arrangement this needs to be done. You’ll literally have seconds to anticipate what numeral/color will be thrown down before your turn and to arrange your cards in a logical order. This involves not only thinking very quickly, but also having pretty sharp hand dexterity since fast controller inputs are mandatory for said sorting purposes.
