Trash talk, petty grudges, suicidal vendettas. That's what wrecked is all about. [June 2012, p.62]
  2. Mar 28, 2012
A very immediate and entertaining game, expecially if played with friends. Its only flaw is in the too-few available circuits, only six.
  3. Mar 30, 2012
They could have called this one "Mashed+". Handling, track design, weapons, malicious joy: This feels like the eight year old predecessor. But it still works – unless you're alone on the track.
  4. Mar 26, 2012
A reminder of just how good hanging out with friends and playing multiplayer in the same room can be. It's certainly not all it could – or perhaps should – be, so we can't help but be a little disappointed, but ultimately it's still a blast.

A noteworthy successor to games like Mashed and Micromachines. If you like this blend of shooting and driving, it is a very interesting buy, although its single-player mode is quite short and not very replayable.
  6. Apr 6, 2012
A poor single player and good multiplayer gameplay represent the two faces of this sequel of Mashed.
  7. Apr 2, 2012
Awful single player and online issues that frustrate more than entertain mean that Wrecked: Revenge Revisited should be one that should avoid at all costs. However, should you be in a position where you can do local multiplayer, then there is no reason not to own this game. That alone is enough to sell the game, as simple as that.

Fans of the original Mashed finally have the chance to get a good downloadable sequel from the creators of the series, Supersonic.
  9. 70
Quite fun, but human co-drivers are a must for maxium enjoyment.
  10. 70
It's not quite the return to glory Mashed and Micro Machines fans would've hoped for, but despite its flaws this is still a great party game.
  11. 60
The successor to the legendary Mashed didn't beat its predecessor because of the unpredictable behavior of physics and weapons, a short list of tracks and average visuals. [May 2012]
  12. Apr 3, 2012
Race your opponents, wrecking chaos with a multitude of weapons. Though it's still fun to play with friends, this game could have used a lot of more testing. Sadly, bugs, bad AI and serious camera issues lowers the score.
  13. Apr 3, 2012
Boring graphics and music lacerate the heart of a "Rock'n'Roll Racing"-veteran.
  14. Apr 6, 2012
Wrecked: Revenge Revisited has the potential to be a fantastic spiritual successor to Mashed, but it fails to get off the starting line. While the game strives in multiplayer, it's difficult to recommend a title that has poor single player content, a weak camera and unimpressive audio.
  15. Apr 28, 2012
Honestly, it's a nice try, and this game has a few fun elements, but that's really all we can say about Wrecked: Revenge Revisisted. It looks dated, the controls are oversensitive and the actual content isn't up to snuff. Playing online pays off for a few matches, but that's all really.
  16. 50
The only thing this is good for is scrap. [May 2012, p.97]
  17. Apr 11, 2012
Wrecked: Revenge Revisited is spattered with moments of enjoyment, but not enough to warrant its many problems. Factor in the hefty price of 1200msp, with day one DLC weighing in at another 400msp, and you have a barrier to entry that is already hard to surmount.

    Shoddy combat racing. [Issue#122, p.105]
  19. Apr 11, 2012
Sadly, for me this game was a big disappointment, a bit of a wreck so to speak.
  20. Apr 2, 2012
Wrecked offers a tissue-thin single-player mode, poor frame-rate and camera, bland track design and clumsy online multiplayer, all for a premium price with expensive community-splitting day-one DLC.
  21. 35
Wrecked sabotages itself at every turn.
  22. Apr 26, 2012
Nothing really works with this game. Avoid it at all costs.
  23. Apr 10, 2012
Even without comparing it to previous games, it's still mediocre at best. If I had one word to describe Wrecked, it would be unnecessary. There are enough arcade racers out there, and some of them are actually pretty decent. This one; is not.
  24. Apr 2, 2012
A re-tread of Mashed's multiplayer, with reduced tracks and a superfluous single player mode.

We spend two evenings playing Wrecked and what can I say? You have to play it with good friends! It's like a HD version of Mashed, the gameplay is still extremely funny and needless to say that you have to prevent your neighbours because of all the noise while playing the game. :-)

I absolutely can not understand the bad reviews. Wrecked is that what I expected from a sequel! Yes, I still miss the highway-track but everything else is perfect!

"Wrecked: Revenge Revisited" is a XBLA causal racing racing game, where you must gain points by wreck your opponents, to win the game, and that is viewed from a top perspective, having the same basic gameplay of MicroMachines. It has only 6 tracks, but you can play with 4 other players in the screen and Online. You can customize your car, and add weapons (there are many types of weapons available), to help win the races, or beat the adversaries. The graphics are good, somewhat casual and colorful to fit the game and the sound effects are nice: but the musics and comments are very annoying. The game mechanics are a little odd in the handling, and the singleplayer experience is bad. For 1200 Microsoft Points there are many other games that has a way better cost / benefit ratio - I recommend to buy this game, only if you like quick competitive games, if you are a die hard fan of Micromachines (that is a way better game) or have others friends to play with you, but again, a more just price for this game would be something like 800MS Points. My score: 6,7 / 10,0 Full Review »

Wrecked is at its best when you have 2 or 3 friends you can play it with. It is one of the best party games out there. However, I can't score the game as highly as I would of liked to; it would of got lower than a 7 but I enjoyed it too much. Here's where Wrecked lets itself down: Lacking maps, Pricey (1200ms), Day one DLC, not many people playing online, if anyone rage quits (not just the host) the game ends, the new boost mechanic doesn't work that well on the 360 controller, no bots unlike its predecessor. If you were a MASHED player you shouldn't miss this but new comers may be left with a bad taste in their mouths. Full Review »
