A potentially good rental title for those that fall squarely into the target MTV demographic, Yoostar delivers what it advertises but won't be a game that you'll regret passing on.

As clever as its core concept is, the Yoostar series still struggles to be more than a half-baked party trick - and it's one that's losing appeal with each lackluster performance.

Unless you are a die-hard fan of the kind of braindead sophmoric television that MTV is so focused on these days, there's little here to make the investment worthwhile.

The episodes and scenes are entertaining, but there simply aren't enough of them to justify a full purchase. Pound for pound, unless you're hell-bent to perform MTV programming, Yoostar 2 is definitely a better deal.
