  • Summary: And 1 Streetball brings the flashy street-basketball style from the And 1 Mixtape tour to your home video game consoles. You can create a player from the ground up and take him through the trials of making the And 1 team. The game features a variety of moves inspired by real streetball players and includes venues from around the country--each with its own regional soundtrack. You can choose the size of your games, ranging from one-on-one showdowns to full five-on-five action. Expand

  1. Played out against a great backbeat with tracks from San Quinn, Turf Talk, and Rhymefest, And 1 reminds us that basketball isn't just a game; it's a way of life. [Aug 2006, p.78]
  2. Average would be the word for And 1, but I wouldn't throw Black Ops and Ubi out of the game just yet. A little more polish, reworking of the controls and maybe And 1 Streetball II can play with the big boys.
  3. AND 1's cool Create-a-Baller and Create-a-Move modes make the game worth playing, if you yearn for the exaggerated, arcade gameplay in the spirit of NBA Jam, albeit with a lot more street style.
  4. AND 1 Streetball mixes in a lot of what's good about street basketball but in the end the overall execution is plagued by glitches and weak controls that makes this one a real playa hater.
  5. Unless you are a huge AND 1 fan, please avoid this game, otherwise find some cheat codes and unlock the movies. They are the only thing worth public consumption.
  6. From bugs to just simple bad gameplay, this is one that you just have to steer clear from.
  7. With core mechanics this flawed, no amount of cut-scene-laden story modes, create-a-move editors or unlockable extras will make up for what is a truly putrid videogame. [Aug 2006, p.127]
