  • Summary: Batman, the Dark Knight detective of Gotham City, is back in an all-new adventure. In Batman: Dark Tomorrow, it's up to Batman to solve the mystery and save the day. The legendary Caped Crusader must use all his mental and physical skills, batglider capabilities, devices from his utility belt, and sleuthing prowess to fight crime and defeat enemies. You must battle both new and familiar enemies, including Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, and the Joker. But in some missions, stealth is just as important as brute force. Expand

  1. There's just no way around it - Batman: Dark Tomorrow simply failed on the core aspect of gameplay design.
  2. 35
Nothing more than a miserable failure that's so bad, it's funny. Just like your most favorite, cheese-laden late night horror flick, there are moments in this lackluster sissy of an action-adventure that you'll literally bust a gut laughing at.
  3. It's ultimately dragged down by erratic control, sloppy design, and wildly jarring changes in camera angle. [June 2003, p.82]
  4. A poor excuse for a Tenchu-style fighter, thinly veiled as a story-driven stealth action game a la Metal Gear that's so laughably bad it actually makes "Batman: Vengeance" look like the best superhero action game ever created.
  5. The actual experience of playing Batman: Dark Tomorrow is so awful that avoiding the game altogether is the best course of action.
  6. 22
A crime against comic book licenses. Flawed from top to bottom, from beginning to end... This is a great example of "what not to do."
  7. A mind-numbing combination of awkward combat, mediocre visuals, and a camera that wouldn't be out of place in a Greco-Roman torture chamber, Dark Tomorrow fails on nearly every level imaginable. [June 2003, p.56]

My points are not going towards the game but towards all of the comments about it. I have to say, people have been very open about putting down this game. But I support all of those comments because the game really does suck. Finally they should have never released a game like this it probably took a couple of minutes to put together and the makers were probably very hungry for money. Collapse

I'm afraid to say this game is a dreadful disappointment. I had been really looking forward to it, prior to its release. Even terrible reviews could not put me off buying a copy of Batman: Dark Tomorrow. I wish they had. Thankfully, I bought it from a shop with a good returns policy. I cannot emphasise enough how terrible this game is. If you want a third-person Batman game, Vengeance is probably the best so far. Steer clear of Dark Tomorrow at all costs. Expand
