Burnout 3 is special. It's not just another racing game, and despite lacking certain features car enthusiasts hold dear (such as customisation and ultra realism) it's easily the most fun we've ever had with any racing game. [Oct 2004, p.96]

Racing games have now changed forever, and entirely for the better - for that there can be no higher recommendation. It's that good.
  3. Hands down, the best arcade racer ever made. Ever. [Oct 2004, p.99]

This game takes the racing to a whole new level. With the new added gameplay like Road Rash this game really delivers. You take a fast, high paced game and add crashing to the mix then you get an amazing game. Defenitly worth the money! Expand

Good graphics, fantastic sensation of speed. Boring gameplay that requires little skill, the Takedown feature is pretty rubbish, probably EA's influence to appeal to the masses, they have ruined yet another franchise. Game is too easy really, andt soon looses its appeal, being fast just isn't enough. And get rid of the damn ej's, although you can turn him off Pick up Burnout 2 for a fraction of the price and get a superior game. Expand

Nice smooth graphics but that doesn't make up for it's short life span (almost finished the game in 5 days), too much crap to unlock (everything you do seems to unlock something), bad bg music, the hard levels are near impossible and ultra-frustrating, too many menus to scroll through to get to a race...I'm sure Burnout 4 will be better.
