  • Summary: Join A.C.M.E. agent-in-training, Cole Gannon, along with Jules Argent and Shadow Hawkins, in an all-new action adventure on the trail of Carmen Sandiego--the world's greatest thief. This case takes Cole around the world: from a museum in New York and the beaches of New Zealand to the Incan ruins of Machu Picchu. While on the case, you'll need to use acrobatics, stealth, martial arts, and most of all, your wit, to stop Carmen from unearthing the drums and making off with the lost treasure. Expand

  1. As a game that balances so many forms of gameplay successfully, Carmen certainly earns my respect. For younger gamers (especially those with only an Xbox) this is a must buy.
  2. With a sparse Saturday-morning-cartoon look, the game can become a drag for the adult eye, but just like the best of those cartoons, a certain charm bubbles below the surface. [Jan 2004, p.65]
  3. A mediocre game across the board, offering nothing new or even remotely entertaining and instead putting you through the paces of Generic Platformer 101.

PS2 Graphics, poor camera that gets stuck on things, or prevents you from seeing what you need to see when you're in a corridor- wobbly character control (makes jumping a real chore in this platformer)- and poor pacing. There's not much of a story- the characters are bland- there's not much going for this boring laborious game. Expand
